"I had an excellent experience at this café! The coffee was top-notch, and the atmosphere was fantastic, especially with the expansive lawn and patio situated right next to the Deschutes River and Drake Park. I highly recommend checking out this popular spot. I tried the chai tea and breakfast burrito, and I absolutely loved it! My wife enjoyed a latte and a pastry, and she was equally pleased with her breakfast. We even created a YouTube video on our channel, @hikebytes, showcasing outdoor activities within a 30-minute radius of Bend, Oregon, featuring this coffee spot along with a few others. Thanks for the relaxing vibe and delicious food—keep up the great work!"

Had to change a coffee because it was too spicy and they changed it no questions asked. Really nice people, great coffee and scenery.

This is an excellent spot to enjoy coffee with children. There's a backyard that overlooks the river, providing plenty of room for the little ones to roam and explore!

Nice garden to sit outside and enjoy coffee and fresh baked delicacies. Ordering at the window up front, but when you walk to the back, there are picknick tables in the garden that stretches all the way to the river. The espresso is really good and so are their smoothies. View menu

Used to come here all the time for either a quick pick-me-up or to sit and work and it’s wonderful every single time. I even just drove 12 hours up from LA and made this place my first stop. Iced 16oz oat milk matcha latte or velvet elvis are my go tos and don’t forget the pablano brekkie from sparrow!

Looney Bean of Bend is a whole mood, with an unreal spot right by the river. You’ve got weeping willows and gorgeous riverside homes to look at while you sip. The cortado was fire, and the gluten-free cake frosted doughnut? So good. Definitely a chill place to hang out and enjoy the view. Pro tip: don’t have them heat anything up for you. Microwave?

Is this...heaven? No, it's a just a coffee shop. But tell that to the birds and trees and views of the river and park. This was our first time visiting and it has definitely left a mark. The shop is cute and, when the weather is nice, the backyard is pretty amazing. The coffee was great as well! We had the Velvet Elvis (white chocolate and caramel) and it was heavenly as well. This might be the most beautiful coffee shop I have ever been. It has a huge backyard by the river and a lot of indoor seating too. It serves fresh baked items from Sparrow bakery. We got dirty hippie, oat cappuccino and a poblano sandwich from sparrow. Both the coffee orders were immaculate and crisp. The sandwich was phenomenal. We might just come to Bend again for this coffee shop and glad we could visit.

The Velvet Elvis blended coffee had a strange powder that had no visible, olfactory, or flavor characteristics of traditional coffee. I suppose that's just how they make their blended coffee, but I wish I had been informed! I was hoping for a coffee that I could actually taste. My drink turned out white instead of the usual brown. This is the second place I've encountered that uses this odd "coffee" for blended drinks without giving me any warning that it wouldn't taste like coffee. As someone who was hungover, that was not pleasant at all. On a brighter note, I had a breakfast sandwich, and it was quite good—slightly dry, but still enjoyable overall.
