"I have lived in the Bay Area for over 15 years and have been searching for good Mexican food since moving here 2 years ago. I have been disappointed with all the options I have tried until now. I must say that the food in Portland is much better than in San Francisco overall in terms of creativity, consistency, price, and variety. I had a DoorDash gift card from Christmas and decided to order a chile relleno burrito and a veggie burrito on Friday 1/9/21. Both were perfect. The chile relleno was the best I have ever had and the veggie burrito surprised me with perfectly cooked broccoli, cauliflower, and mushrooms. I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I ordered again on Monday 1/11 and added a chicken quesadilla, which was also great. By Wednesday 1/13, I had ordered again and everything was consistently great. Even though they forgot my coke one time, I didn't mind as the food was still amazing. I have since ordered again on Saturday 1/16 and have had multiple items from the menu within one week. I can't vouch for anything else on the menu, but I highly recommend trying the burritos and quesadillas. Order this food now."

This restaurant has no flavor. If you prefer food without salt, pepper, or any spices, this is the place for you. I would not dine here again and would not suggest anyone do so unless they have dietary restrictions against salt or seasonings. We tried the patas, carnitas burrito, and carne asada burrito. The meat was unseasoned, and the patas were very bland.

Thanks to Doordash, I discovered what a hidden gem Los Pepitos Locos is. It has quickly become one of my favorite spots for Mexican food. Their burritos are my go-to dish - filling, delicious, and surprisingly fresh compared to the usual greasy options. I also love their chicken Caesar salad, which is one of the best I've ever had. The customer service is excellent, particularly the friendly lady at the register. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great Mexican food at a reasonable price that will leave you satisfied. View menu

Amazing food! I ordered their carnita torta and it was so delicious. Well cooked. I could tell that their chips are made there because they arrived very warm. To be honest when I first saw their salsa I was doubting it because it's very liquidity but once I tried it it was so delicious as well. The reason why I'm giving them 4 out of 5 stars is because I asked for 3 red salsas or Chile salsa for the torta and only got one. Super super small and the torta was big so I didn't have enough for even half of the torta. Other then that, very tasty food!

I feel like I have to start this out with, we're Californians and we're used to authentic, quality mexican and el salvadorian food... Ordered delivery thru Doordash to our hotel and the delivery was quick. The prices were reasonable. But our food was awful. Ordered a carnitas burrito, got lengua. The pupusas were falling apart, not fully cooked and the cheese was different... I don't know what was wrong with it, but it tasted off maybe expired? The carne asada nachos had no veggies, which would have been fine if the steak had flavor, but it was legit flavorless and over-cooked.
