"Back in the days I came here often and I left them a very generous tip each time. Usually I get a little bit extra or a side order. We would go back and forth with long conversations, they answered questions about race, religion and even have conversations outside the restaurant. They would explained in detail what was each meal and deals available or make a deal where you pay a little more and experience more halal food. It was our mutual way of appreciation. It's kind of look like a Subway restaurant that got converted into a halal restaurant and I respected that. Then I notice that the older males and cook were placed with young men. The service was great and then rapidly declined. I came in one day to get my usual plate and the young guys over the counter not only overcharged me and I knew this. They had the nerve to asked for a tip and ask me why wouldn't I tip? They charge me double the amount I usually pay. They barely looked in my direction because they was too bothered talking to each other and then to put insult to injury they asked me to tip them after their disgraceful behavior. They was completely rude. I never came back and a few months later it closed its doors. The restaurant is no longer available. I give 3 stars. It was never a 2 and it would have been 4/5 if it wasn't for those two idiots."

Food was very nasty and service was bad hands down. People shouldn’t come to NY and have to worry about getting food poisoning. Got the overpriced food and instantly regretted it.

Food tasted the worst. Never have seen chicken curry (chicken tikka masala) in pink color that tasted much sweet.. just added garlic on top on the dry roti and served as garlic naan. Not a go-to place for Indian food lovers.

Very Unprofessional, Their food trays are all stolen from subway. Man behind the counter argued with me about the absurd cost of the plate when the menu states that its way cheaper than what he’s charging me otherwise. I knew I should’ve walked out whenever i saw him put my food in the microwave. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! View menu

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SO CALLED “HALAL” food and get some real HALAL food somewhere else. These guys had the audacity to charge me $7 extra for a mixed tandoori platter that is clearly different price on menu.FOOD WAS MICROWAVED.If coming to eat here, I highly advise using a stolen credit card and don't use your own money.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant! None of the food items appeared fresh. I ordered the chicken tikka tandoori, but it looked pale compared to other dishes. The tandoori was burnt and very tough; it was definitely not fresh. Additionally, I noticed serious issues with hygiene, cleanliness, and professionalism. I would suggest being cautious before dining here.

Upon entering the restaurant and taking a seat, the first thing that struck me was the overwhelming presence of flies. When it came time to order, I noticed that the food appeared to have been left out for hours before being microwaved and served to us. I opted for the chicken tikka masala, which tasted excessively sweet, almost like syrup. Furthermore, the service was lackluster, as they repeatedly brought us the wrong dishes and charged us incorrectly. View menu

I really enjoyed the food and the staff were very nice and friendly. However, I have to give this restaurant a 1-star rating because of two gentlemen behind the counter who wear white religious hats. They have overcharged me for my meal twice now! I was charged $14 for a veggie combo with rice and one naan. When I complained today, they reduced the price to $10, but it should typically be around $8 or $9. This behavior is very unethical and disappointing! I hope their boss has a talk with them about this.

My friends and I walked a while to get to this restaurant because we were enticed by the great advertised prices, but lo and behold it ironically came at a cost not monetary. We each got the butter chicken, a known Indian delicacy 9 times out of 10; unluckily for us, that 1 out of 10 happened at this restaurant. We literally saw them just take pre-made rice and butter chicken curry onto a paper plate and then reheat it in a microwave and then give it to us with plastic cutlery. It was room temperature and tasted like macaroni and cheese. The only positive thing I can say is that it filled me up, although that might have just been my spoiled appetite. Lesson learned: just pay an extra 5-8 buc...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
