"Bring your own bread the 2 dry reheated stale rolls were unimpressive. Now I know people don’t go to a steakhouse for bread but when you go to NYY steakhouse you get their delicious raisin bread and fresh warm pretzel bread when you go to capital Grille, they have amazing breads as well as the flatbreads for me is a make or break believe it or not, not such an impressive selection of desserts. My rack of lamb was average. The biggest plus about this restaurant is the location as it’s not too far into the city. I know the pandemic has forced everyone to make some changes and cut back but really those rolls are absolutely hard, dry and disgusting for what people are paying for a steak. They deserve a decent piece of bread. I will say the service was impeccable. Also other fine dining establishment will acknowledge a special occasion. This was not the case here just very unimpressed used to come here for every occasion."

Food and service were great, but the music could have been eliminated. We are senior citizens who don’t like the music that was played. If we don’t go back, it would be for that reason only

Excellent service and quiet atmosphere. Food was okay not worth the price they charged. Bathroom was dark and dingy covered up hole in the wall with a piece of paper towel. Don’t mind spending the money but this definitely wasn’t worth it View menu

Food as usual was mouthwatering and plentiful. Bang bang shrimp appetizer..Had bone in ribeye with lobster mac and cheese and sauteed spinach and had the tartufu with vanilla ice cream raspberry sherbet and a white chocolate shell....OMG! It's illegal for EVERYTHING to be THAT DELOCIOUS!!! Celebrated birthday there. Pablo was incredible.

Very disappointed experience for myself and friends. Ordered clams(casino, stuffed, raw) and it was all the size of a quarter. Constantly looking for our one server that keeps disappearing. It wasn't even busy on a Saturday night and 3 hours had pasted. Finally gave us dessert menu and then didn't come back after 35 minutes, by that time no one wanted to wait any longer for dessert and want to go home. Still charged us tip on the bill despite the poor service. If I wanted poor service, would had gone to Peter Luger instead. There are many Steakhouse to choose in NYC that offer much better service.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
