"First I want to say I could tell immediately they were either understaffed or dealing with new staff. Either way, I waited about 15-20 minutes to even have my order taken. The manager was stressed, she apologized. I ordered the BLT+ Avocado sandwich with a side of chips. It was another almost 15 minutes till I got my food only to dig in and realize there was NO AVOCADO. It was disappointing because I'm pretty sure I paid a premium price for the avocado. Also the bread was very dry. Barely any mayo on there. It was mostly a lettuce sandwich."

Have enjoyed McAlister's for decades however; the Lake Zurich location was extremely short staffed on a Saturday afternoon. Curbside pick up feature wasn't available either. Suggest other locations. View menu

The food was great, we continue to come here for a quick quality meal. Tonight the restaurant was short staffed and busy, the employee's kept their cool worked through the orders. I highly recommend this place!

The food was quite tasty, but the portion sizes were small considering the price. The manager on duty was a wonderful person, though he seemed to be under a lot of stress due to delivery problems. I felt for him. The restaurant was clean and cozy, and the service provided by the manager was excellent. Food rating: 3/5.

I visit McAlister’s at least twice a week because its so close to my job and because the food is delicious. They have not let me down once. Every single worker in the Lake Zurich store works so hard especially at lunch time. Please customers be more patient with them, they never have enough staff to cover and sometimes your food may be delay. But they do a great job!!!! View menu

I love McAlister's Deli's!!This one in Lake Zurich was a wonderful experience eating in.Super friendly staff. They all seemed so happy and enjoyed working together. Very refreshing!Sandwiches brought to our table, warm and with a beautiful presentation on large white ceramic plates?Nice touch!My turkey sandwich was super flavorful with a balsamic dressing.My husband's horseradish roast beef sandwich could have used just a little more zing, he said.Thanks

I've never had a bad experience since I started visiting this place. A friend introduced me to it, as I'm not usually from this area, and with each visit, it has become one of my favorite sandwich spots. I always make it a point to try something different each time, and everything is consistently delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly, which is a real bonus since I'm naturally shy. I wholeheartedly recommend it for great food and a positive atmosphere!
