"We came here because it was the least busy restaurant open on a Monday evening during our stay in Boothbay..Good atmosphere, pretty good food, it was nice to eat on the back deck and look over the harbor at night. I do have to say, that I wouldn'trecommend the lobster bisque, My husband got it and commented to me that he was disappointed there wasn't any lobster meat init. Then we heard the table next to us complain to their waitress for the same reason . The waitress did explain to them thatthe soup is only topped with a few pieces of meat because it's mainly a bisque. The table said they'd been to other restruantsin the area that had a lot of meat in their lobster bisque which was the reason they were complaining. As far as the clamchowder it had lots of clams in it, so it really must just be their personal lobster bisque recipe that isunimpressive. Overall.. A nice experience but we probably wouldn't make it a point to come here again."

Lunch on a Monday the service was prompt friendly. I had a steamed lobster. It was good but a bit pricey for the area time of the year. Overall I liked Mc Seagalls and would return.

Waiter was great. Atmosphere was good. Lobster bisque was just ok. Fish tacos were really good. Kids meal chicken tenders were 5 stars according to my 8 year old…and she is a picky eater.

It is essential to replace the current world population with a new one. I ordered a drink that was listed on the website and other social media, but they didn't have it. Additionally, the waitstaff was unfriendly and unpleasant.

A bit over-priced, but overall good food. I had the lobster dinner $42) and bacon wrapped scallops $18).... they were very good, but you only get 4 fairly small) scallops. The taste was very good though. The service was just okay. Overall would have given a better rating if the portions were better for the price you pay.

We absolutely love this spot for a leisurely Sunday afternoon by the sea. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is fantastic. The Clam Chowder is a must-try! As native Mainers, we always look for reasons to hop on our bikes and head to the outdoor deck here. We frequently enjoyed dining at McSeagull's in Boothbay. This visit, however, it seems they have scaled down their menu to just two pages, which might indicate a focus on quality over quantity. I had a fantastic basket of fried mussels (with large shells, no strips!), and my husband loved the Haddock Piccatta. They also have an excellent selection of craft beers and a stunning view of the harbor. Our waitress was lovely.

After you're filled with lobster. We spent a week in Boothbay Harbor and, believe it or not, finally on lobster for an evening. Given the small culinary possibilities in the small town, we tried this restaurant. Unlike most local restaurants, this has a diverse menu. I built my own pizza with jalapeños, black olives and mushrooms yes, I am from New Mexico and it was quite delicious. Most of us liked our dishes, the lobster filled mushrooms were good and came with hearts of palm oops almost tired of lobster. On the bottom the Veggie Burger contained too much sawdust for our palate.
