"I was asked what kind of rice I wanted with my dinner upon ordering. I was surprised to see when I got my bill they charged me $4.95 for the rice. They don't mention this anywhere on the menu. A side of rice doesn't exist. It felt like a total scam. Poor service, tables remained dirty and unbussed after people left the entirety of our meal. Food service took over one hour despite us being the only patrons dining in the establishment. Our table was sticky. Booths are very uncomfortable, the tables are too small and the booths are too wide. I'm 6'4 and had sit on the very edge of my seat to eat properly. The temperature was way to warm made the whole dining experience uncomfortable. The food is good though. Not worth the experience."

Very good food! The inside is a little rough looking, but definitely a hidden gem. Kind service and our stomachs were happy when we left!

Consistent and delicious. I've been a handful of time in the last few years, every time very good. I would recommend to anyone who wants a change from the standard kitchen in the city.

New owner, good service, exceptional food we liked. The owner made suggestions. Everything was delicious. Again the ultimate question, we would go back for the takeover. Answer to unambiguous YES. View menu

Great customer service. We have food allergies, and the person who answered the food was excellent about ingredients and what might possibly contaminated cross. We had no reactions from the food, and it was delicious! Very recommended.

Please save your time and money and dont go to this place. Horrible and Rude. We were travelling with my old parents who wanted Indian food and this place seemed close by so we tried to venture this place. We waited for 20 mins and were later told the cook left. This was when there was 90 mins to close. the place seemed unorganized and chaotic. What a sorry excuse for a restaurant.

I 've ordered from this place more than 10 times. Until recently, I was very satisfied. Lately, things are really inconsistent. 7 bucks for two little samosas? The samosas used to be either huge, or I 'd get 4 of them. Also, I paid 22 dollars for this mixed grill special which is barely any food. The biryani at least is 5 bucks cheaper and you get a ton of it. The taste is amazing, but something is off now. View menu

Recently, I've started ordering directly from restaurants instead of using services like Grubhub or DoorDash, as they take a percentage from the business for their service. So, I called to place an order, paid for it, and went back home. However, when we opened the bag, it looked like they had forgotten one of the main dishes. I've never had an issue with missing items in my orders before, so this was disappointing.

It seems like they changed the recipe for their Butter Chicken. It used to be top notch it now has a more red color, less spice (the medium used to be perfect spice, now can 't tell the difference between medium and mild) is much thinner consistency and has less chicken I must order extra to get a sufficient amount. I love this place, I 'm so glad they are here the owners and staff are great people and I know COVID is making everything difficult (price gouging on supplies, fewer people eating out, etc). The food isn 't bad by any means, it 's just not fantastic like it was. I really hope they can bring back the old recipe soon! I personally would be willing to pay a little extra for the prem...

"We arrived shortly after 7 p.m. and immediately overheard one of the staff engaged in a conversation filled with extremely foul language, which was quite off-putting for a first impression of a restaurant. After a few minutes, we were finally seated, but then we felt completely forgotten. It took over 40 minutes before a waitress came to take our drink order, and we quickly decided to order our food at the same time. The wait for our food was equally long, taking another 35 to 40 minutes. I ordered the Simon sandwich with french fries. Unfortunately, it was drenched in so much barbecue sauce that it soaked through the bread and made it nearly impossible to enjoy. The roast beef was stringy and tough; every bite resulted in half the filling falling out, making it hard to chew. In the past, I have ordered that sandwich dozens of times and always considered it one of the best in St. Joseph, but tonight it was barely edible. I ended up leaving a quarter of the sandwich and quite a few of the french fries on my plate. The fries were overly greasy and tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. After we placed our food order, we didn't see our waitress again, so there were no drink refills, and we weren't even asked if we wanted dessert. This was certainly not the experience I wanted my friend to have at a restaurant I used to cherish. I have no plans to return anytime soon."
