"We are regulars there, this is my first review, First the food is awesome and there is plenty of it and for the price you can not beat it. Just a suggestion If you have hungry teens and going for breakfast or lunch this is the place to fill their tummies, Service is great and very personable, if you leave without a take out box I would be amazed. Meat lovers skillet is my favorite, Or the country fried steak skillet, But it is all very good, Love the split pea soup and croutons. yes under new management but still same family, quality and quantity has not gone away, Just try it you'll like it. But get there early cuz parking gets a little slim later on weekends."

I went there and the food was great. The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly. The portions are huge and very flavorful. It's definitely worth the money.

Had a Skillet with all sorts of Meat. More than generous portions. Great service. The look on my husband's face when his skillet was placed before him was priceless. Love this place!

You got to get here at just the right time or you have a long wait for a table. But it is worth it. Everything I have had from them is delicious. The ham is awesome. If we can't eat in we get it to go.

I'm visiting from out of town and was recommended this place, and it did not disappoint! The food was fantastic! There was so much that I could hardly finish it, haha! The prices were also very reasonable. I would definitely return if I'm ever in the area again.

We've been visiting this restaurant for years. Even after moving to the far western suburbs, we still make the occasional trip just to enjoy the meat lover's skillet, while my wife usually orders the #1. We always have leftovers, and we can leave for just $25, including the tip. View menu

My husband and I have been visiting this restaurant for years. The food is plentiful and delicious. You simply must try the skirt steak in addition to the ham—it's amazing! Speaking of ham, you can purchase a ham bone for soup for less than $5. Just ask, and they'll set it aside for you to pick up at checkout. Be prepared for potentially long waits on the weekends, as the lines can stretch out the door.

It was my first visit there and was taken by a friend . Upon arriving you can't help notice how clean the place was and how friendly the staff was not to mention the monster meal i ordered was the meat lover skillet .......... let me tell you it had 4 eggs with potatoes cheese and what I'm calling at least a pound to a pound and a half of meat. It had to be largest breakfast I've ever seen and for a very affordable price. I'll close by saying that if you leave hungry it's only you're fault ..... 2- thumbs up to Mr Allison's .......

"If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would! My husband is a vegetarian, and I have strict medical instructions to reduce my sugar and simple starch intake. Bistro Chen offers a fantastic variety of tofu dishes, and they even provide brown rice upon request for their sushi items. Their Dim Sum is the best in the suburbs! We especially love their Chinese broccoli, which can be steamed or stir-fried based on your preference. It is always incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The stir-fried baby bok choy is also highly recommended. If you're in the know, make sure to try the Ong Choy when it’s available. This water hyacinth might sound exotic, but there’s no need to be intimidated. Its flavor is a delightful blend between kale and spinach, and it's simply stir-fried with a hint of garlic for the perfect taste. Another must-try vegetable is the Sichuan green beans. The chef skillfully incorporates Sichuan peppercorns along with red chilies, garlic, and other ingredients, creating a depth of flavor that enhances the crisp-tender string beans. We’ve become so addicted to them that we order this dish every time we visit. Additionally, their sushi is incredibly fresh, generously portioned, and perfectly balanced between rice and fish. Their sushi rolls are creative, fun, and above all, DELICIOUS! The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, always happy to answer any questions we have about the availability of certain dishes. We can’t wait to return!"
