"I absolutely adored this restaurant. As a primarily raw vegan, I found it very easy to find options to eat here. I chose to build my own bowl with a salad base, adding tofu, various fresh vegetable toppings, dressing, and a vegan vinaigrette. It was incredibly tasty. I also appreciate that they were mindful of MSG, which I am sensitive to, though the only items with MSG were the meats which I wouldn't have eaten anyway. I opted for takeout so I can't comment on the dining experience, but I noticed they use paper-based shells for their dishes. All of their toppings are vegan, and they offer three vegan sauces. Other base options for the dishes include noodles, banh mi, and brown and white rice. They also have vegan options like crispy tofu, fresh rolls, and impossible egg rolls. This place definitely deserves to be a chain."

This may be the best vegan banh mi I have ever tried. You can choose to have it made with Impossible "pork" or tofu.

Probably the best Bahn Mi I’ve had in LA. The place is clean, the staff is quick, and the food is so, so good. Will definitely be coming back.

I ordered via Doordash. Bomb Bahn mi was very filling for lunch. It was very tasty and satisfying. Will definitely order again and maybe visit the place one of these days. View menu

I will definitely return! They serve a delicious impossible meatball or tofu option, as well as amazing bahn mi sandwiches and loaded bowls. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

You can definitely see that the vegetables are freshly picked, and the chicken servings were generous. The variety of sauces was impressive. The gentleman assisting us tonight (11/6) was very accommodating. It felt like I was eating my mom's home-cooked meal; I can't think of higher praise than that.

had a delicious vegan bowl with impossible vegan meat. one of the owners mentioned that they offer the first vietnamese egg rolls made vegan with impossibility of meat. the pork balls in this dish will finally give vegans a real taste of traditional Vietnamese food without skipping on anything. at over 20 dollars the bowl is not cheap, but definitiw every penny worth. This restaurant offers a modern twist on traditional Vietnamese cuisine, which makes it a good choice for those looking for something different. Initially, I was hesitant to try it because I usually have delicious home-cooked meals from my family. However, My Lai impressed me with their ability to blend traditional flavors with a unique twist. Overall, it's a reliable option for tasty Vietnamese food in West LA.

We can’t say enough good things about this establishment and the creators/owners and staff. They catered our wedding a month ago and I am still receiving texts from guests talking about how delicious the food was. We honestly aren’t surprised, as the power couple/owners Traci Shad Davis have been putting out some of the best food in Los Angeles for years. My Lai offers some of the most delicious and fresh food we have ever eaten, no exaggeration. There’s a reason we asked them to cater our wedding. You can taste that every single ingredient is thought out and perfectly executed. Nothing is looked over, and Traci puts together the most beautiful displays. We couldn’t be prouder. If you haven...
