My Pie Pizzeria Romana

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this neighborhood gem. Definitely top 3 pizza places I've ever had. We had the margherita, eggplant, arugula and caprese slices. Delicious and appropriately filling!

Delicious pizza slices to order and great vegan options. The crust is nice and crispy and the toppings are generous and fresh. I highly recommend it! Pro tip: one slice is probably enough food for one person, the slices are cut in half so it's easy to share two different slices.

Love this place and their pizza. One of the best in the city. Eggplant Parmesan, Zucchini Artichoke, and Grandma are my favorites. This is a nice and affordable choice before a show at the Beacon. The pizza slices are double-sized, so keep that in mind when placing your order (one slice is essentially two). The meatball slice was excellent, but I thought the zucchini and artichoke slice really needed some salt to bring the flavors together. Overall, the pinsa was very good.

Was looking forward to trying this place when I heard they had vegan slices. The slices itself was good and loaded with yummy veggies, but the cheese was not even melted a little bit. It was stringy and kind of tasteless. Vegan cheese can totally melt, it's just about getting the right cooking time. I'd advise a vegan slice without cheese if you're lactose intolerant or vegan.

I ordered three pizzas: two pepperoni and one with dry sausage. The food was decent but a bit bland for my taste. I would have preferred a pizza with more flavor, especially since the mozzarella has a mild taste. It would be great if you could enhance the overall flavor of the pizza or add more seasoning. For $6 a slice this is a great spot to stop. In reality you are getting 2 slices...they are bigger than you may first think (or than I first thought anyway). Small space, not many seats to stop and eat but perfect for a grab and go pizza shop! The sausage was certainly not my favorite (nor will I ever order that one again). Stick with the classics and you can’t go wrong though. Pep and margarita were spot on.

I really felt like having pizza and loved the idea of this place. Pre made slices so you can try different types! We had the mushroom ones which were oh so delicious. The spinach artichoke was good too but the mushroom as amazing!! The crust is ridiculously delicious. I wish all pizza had crust like this! The seating area is limited but I absolutely LOVED the look. Check the pics out! I would definitely want to be back because there are other flavors I want to try!
