"The servers were excellent—very friendly and efficient. However, my pan-fried chicken was quite tough, which was a bit disappointing. My dining companion had the lamb and was very pleased with their choice. I made the mistake of choosing the bar-height tables, which were uncomfortable for someone with shorter legs. Next time, I'll be sure to request a regular table. I'll also give the lamb a try next time, as it seems more to my taste."

The special four course meal with wine pairings was outstanding. The North 40 Chophouse is a beautiful venue, Mark and Jennifer gave us friendly, superb service and shared their knowledge of wine with our group. It was a fun, amazing experience. View menu

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was I asked for a box for left overs, the waitress said she would box it up in the kitchen, I ask her to be sure to put in the fat I had trimmed off so I could give it to my dog. When we got home all I had was the fat scraps. Didn't get the nice piece of steak I definitely wanted to keep. Next time will request the box and put our leftovers in ourselves.

We had another fantastic experience at North 40! Despite being busy with parties and having all the tables filled in the dining area and bar, the atmosphere was still wonderful. The staff was incredibly friendly, providing exceptional customer service. The ambiance is unique, the venue is beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious. We’re so glad to have this restaurant in North Platte!
