"I grew up in this neighbourhood and it brings me joy every time I go to the Donut shop. it's not chic that make only the classic donuts and a few other baked. Although there is a donut shop, the ppl that live and work in the neighboring, there for the breakfast and the options are many, pfancakes, waffeln, eggs but they want them, speck (different species), hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, salat and suppe. the decor remembers and sits reminds of once those diners who see them in the movies from the early 50s, high top places around the counter and the server goes from person to person to get their order. the fact that they know my name and order is a bonus."

I visited this place before I could even see the food truck. Are these the best donuts?

The Golden Brown Griddle Cakes with Two Eggs Any Style is just plain pancakes and plain eggs. Dont get too excited. Not worth re-purchasing for me.

I absolutely enjoy the Challah Bread French Toast paired with bacon and home-fried potatoes. Both dishes are made exactly to my taste, and the delivery is consistently quick! View menu

My meal was absolutely amazing. Even though substitutions aren't allowed on DoorDash, I called the restaurant and they made accommodations for me with such ease. (I don’t eat pork.)

Nothing fancy about this nostalgic, old school place but the breakfasts are decent and possibly the cheapest in Brooklyn. Coffee is pretty good and the service is Polite, kind and fast. They know regulars orders by heart and have them ready and waiting. Don't forget to tip them!

If you're in the area and find a parking spot, and you're looking for a quick breakfast, I recommend stopping by for a fast honey-dipped or glazed donut along with tea or coffee. This combination is unbeatable and makes the place a standout. They also offer honey-dipped or glazed munchkins, which are equally tasty. View menu

Good little donut shop in the heart of east Flatbush. In a world of Dunkin donuts it's refreshing to have an affordable donut shop in the neighborhood. The donuts are just as soft as dunkin but not as sweet and without the after taste. Though not as much variety as other donut shops I found it to be enough for our family. Did I mention the cream filling is DELICIOUS and I'm not normally a fan of cream filling. Overall I really enjoyed the experience here and would definitely return. FYI a dozen goes for under 8 dollars!

I ordered a four-piece chicken sandwich, but it turns out they don’t even make that. The food description mentioned it came with a side, but when I checked my bag, none of the sides were included. Instead of challah bread, they used regular wheat bread. The French toast was dry, and they didn’t include syrup or utensils in the bag. When I went back to address the issue, the staff refused to give me my sides or offer a refund. They called the owner, who spoke to me in a disrespectful manner and told me to leave. I will NEVER order from this place again.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
