"As someone who was born and raised in New York, this restaurant feels like a part of me. The food is outstanding—always fresh and flavorful. The soup is particularly impressive; you get a choice of soup or salad with every meal. The calamari is incredible, perfectly cooked with just the right amount of breading, and includes tender tentacles as well. The wings are delightfully crispy, and both the pasta and meat are fresh and high quality. Everything here is simply fantastic! If you enjoy pasta, a warm atmosphere, and family-style dining with generous portions of pizza, pasta, and appetizers, you need to visit this place. It truly is a hidden gem that deserves to be celebrated, so don’t miss out—come and check it out!"

I've been coming to this spot for over 10 years, and it's always my go-to. The food is delicious, and there's always a great slice ready and waiting just for me!

They are stingy with their chicken they advertise the salad serves 2 people yet they put 2oz of chicken in them and that is not enough for 2 people! This is cutting corners and being cheap!! Don’t go there

This is the worst place !!! Most standard chicken breast is 4oz and they sell big salads that say feed 2 people but they only give u 2.8 oz of chicken! How does that go across 2 people!! They suck and don't ever go there View menu

This used to be my go-to pizza spot, but lately the quality has been very inconsistent. The ingredients often seem to slide off the pizza and it doesn’t bake evenly. I really hope it returns to its former glory because it used to be worth the visit. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the prices keep creeping up.

The pizza is authentic and just plain good. I had a meatball Parmigiano from there and it was definitely one of the best. The bread was buttery and toasted with some of the most tender and favorable meatball I've ever had. Staff is young, but attentive. Good spot. You won't find it unless you're looking for it or happen to see it while in the passenger side of the vehicle.

I called to place an order- they raised their prices TEN DOLLARS PER MEAL. I laughed hysterically when she told me it 's $24 for eggplant parm but according to their website it 's $14. What a joke. She goes we raised our prices last week I said by ten dollars???? And she said yes. I couldn 't contain my laughter. Never would I ever go here for average food and charging like it 's finer dinning lmao View menu

i've been going to this restaurant since it opened around 12 years ago as a little girl with my family. Now that i can drive and take myself here i'm here SO often. best wings in town (get mild garlic trust me), AMAZING antipasto salad, and recently discovered the queensbrough salad which i now crave daily. love the ambiance here as well as the decor. staff is always family friendly and so kind. We order from here several times each month and often drop by for slices or sandwiches. The food is consistently hot and fresh. The pizza is outstanding, especially when it's prepared thin and crispy. The sauce has a unique recipe and tastes fantastic. I also highly recommend the chicken Parmesan sandwiches, which come on a crispy roll with plenty of high-quality mozzarella and their delicious sauce. The staff is always friendly and respectful, even when they're busy. Delivery is quick, even on busy nights, and the pizza is consistently good. My family definitely recommends NYPD; it's like our second kitchen at this point. Thanks, everyone!

"We started with the sweet and sour cauliflower, which was just as delicious as we remembered, along with some oysters. For my main course, I tried the roasted veggie mole. It was tasty, but I felt it had a bit too much going on with the sauces and flavors. My brother ordered the smoked pork chop, which is a hit if you enjoy smoked foods—definitely a winner every time. My husband and sister-in-law both chose burgers. My husband paired his with truffle fries, which were fantastic—perfectly crisp, not greasy, and just the right amount of truffle flavor without being overpowering. My sister requested steamed broccoli, which turned out to be a bit of a challenge. We asked our waiter about it, and he said he would check, but we didn’t hear back. We then asked the manager to look into it, but still no luck. Finally, just as my sister finished the last bite of her burger, a hostess approached us with a small plate containing a tiny steamed piece of broccoli that she said had been left on the bar. Better late than never! All things considered, they ended up giving us our drinks for free, which was a nice gesture (and good business practice too). The food was enjoyable, and our waiter eventually got it together. Everyone has an off day, and it seemed like this might have been one of them for him. We’ll definitely return to Driftwood; after all, the menu changes frequently, and there are plenty of delicious options to explore."
