I used to really enjoy this place ten years ago, but it's not what it used to be. The guy behind the counter is friendly, but the owner is quite rude and unpleasant.

The Sicilian pizza had the potential to be excellent, but the pizza box was too short, causing all the cheese to stick to the lid. It was good pizza, but not suited for delivery. View menu

I was definitely disappointed. What was supposed to be a 20-minute pizza delivery turned into over an hour with no phone call or explanation. When I called to check on the status, I found out they couldn't locate my address. It's comical, really; I live in town, but the person who took my order clearly wasn’t suited for the job. I felt that $30 was too much given the poor service, and the pizza itself was just average. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering from here again. Food: 2/5

This is the best pizza in the tri-state area! They use fresh mushrooms instead of canned ones, which makes a big difference. The sauce, cheese, and crust are all fantastic, and they spread the sauce right up to the edge of the crust. I feel like they used to be a bit more generous with the pepperoni in the past, but everything still tastes amazing. They have convenient parking out front if you want to pick up your order. I don't mind grabbing it myself. It's important to support local businesses and leave a good tip! Even after the ownership change, the quality remains impressive. Pizza is Excellent!! Subs, sandwiches, etc. extremely good! I'm writing this though because more so are the staff. When I order from Oakhurst I don't just order for one meal. Sometimes I order a pie just to wrap up and freeze. Sometimes I order subs for lunch the next few days to take to work and my wife to bring to work and share with colleagues. I order the kids chicken parm for my dog who loves it! I recently ordered a bunch of stuff and received a half sub instead of whole. No big deal. I called and immediately was told if you stop by we'll make it for you. No question. I ordered two subs for pickup on a weeknight, and I was not only disappointed but truly shocked by the poor quality of the food and the lack of service from the staff, including the owner—I'm not even sure who it was. The regular Italian sub was inedible; it had no flavor whatsoever, the bread was terrible, and despite requesting it without mayonnaise, it was slathered on. The toppings were not fresh, which is simply unacceptable. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was ignored for several minutes by the person at the counter, despite there being no other customers in the restaurant.
