"Absolutely loved our experience at O'Brien's! The charm, the atmosphere, the food... all very good. So unassuming considering it is located in the Best Western hotel we were staying at and did not expect such a great hidden gem. The best part of our visit was the staff... so accommodating! We were a party of 14, including 6 kids. As someone that's worked in the industry, that sounds like a nightmare! But boy, did they delivery. Friendly, hard-working, attentive and professional. Can't ask for anything more! Robyn, Hope, Hugh Paula... from my family to yours, thank you so much. When we return to the area, we'll be looking forward to visiting you again."

I have visited this restaurant four times during my week-long stay. Unfortunately, my order has only been correct once. The Chicken Alfredo I tried was the worst I have ever had, as it lacked flavor.

The atmosphere is kind of plain but the wings are pretty good and they have a decent selection of draft beers. It's a bit unclear on how to actually get into the restaurant. Your best bet is to go into the hotel and ask the person behind the desk.

TWO THUMBS DOWN; will not return. Corned beef dinner was more like soup and had very small pieces of corned beef. Poutine appetizer was cold. Pasta dish had no flavor; we had to take salt and pepper shakers from another table to make it even close to palatable. View menu

Went in, first time. Beer boxes on entry wall, table full of bottles. Dingy bar. Sat at bar. Stand up glass refrigerator inside of bar, when the door opens an ungodly bright light comes on, total ambiance killer. Bar maid was hacking every 2 minutes, eating, or picking at nachos behind the bar. Never offered me a menu upon arrival. Got a drink. Couldn’t for the life of me order food. Place is a total turn off. Just no. Paid and left. Just no.

I had hoped for a better experience at this restaurant, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I arrived at around 7pm to find an empty restaurant with a few people sitting at the bar. It took 40 minutes to prepare 2 Caesar salads to go, which were tasty. However, the staff seemed annoyed and unapproachable. The bill came out to $33. I will not be recommending this place due to the indifferent customer service - there was no greeting, thank you, or goodbye.
