"Minutes turned into hours, and our stomachs protested loudly. The atmosphere in the restaurant had an uncanny, Twilight Zone quality, as though time itself had become warped. The staff rushed around, their faces showing a mix of frustration and helplessness, seemingly battling against an invisible force that was prolonging our wait. Conversations at our table dwindled to hushed tones, interrupted only by exasperated sighs and longing glances toward the kitchen. The waitress offered us sympathetic smiles each time she passed by, her eyes reflecting her own regret. She too was trapped in this culinary limbo, a victim of circumstances beyond her control. As the hours dragged on, our initial patience morphed into disbelief and anger. The agonizing wait had tested both our limits and our friendship. The restaurant's understaffed situation and unforeseen hurdles had transformed what should have been a pleasant meal into a grueling experience. Yet, amidst our frustration, a shared sense of camaraderie developed among us. The absurdity of our situation united us, as we exchanged knowing looks and wry smiles, finding humor in the chaos unfolding around us. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, our food finally arrived. The plates were set before us, a long-awaited feast that had somewhat lost its appeal. The waitress, looking both weary and relieved, apologized once more, her sincerity unmistakable. As we finally dug into our long-awaited meal, a mix of hunger and relief washed over us. The flavors intertwined with our shared exasperation, creating a bittersweet memory that would be forever etched in our minds. The grip of chaos had finally lifted, and we emerged stronger, bonded by the trials we had faced together. In the end, the Old Sow Grill became more than just a restaurant; it symbolized resilience and friendship. We learned the importance of patience and understanding, even in the face of extended hunger and frustration. As we left that night, we carried with us not just the lingering taste of our delayed meal but also a newfound bond forged through the fiery challenges of a chaotic kitchen."

The restaurant is quite decent, with ample space. There's a television at the bar and a pool table in front for entertainment.

The spinach artichoke dip tasted like it had been microwaved, and the chips were stale—I'm pretty sure they were from 1935. It's unbelievable that they would serve something of that quality. On a positive note, the water was acceptable.

This was honestly the worst service I've ever encountered. While half of our table received their food, we didn't get anything. They really need to hire more staff. Overall, I would rate the food a 1, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1.

This is a friendly neighborhood grill with amazing food. I would have to say the best fish tacos I've ever had. I don't know what kind of sauce was on them, but yummm! Delicious burger and onion rings as well. Great customer service! So happy we stumbled upon this place as we were sightseeing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch View menu

My wife and I ordered Chicken Alfredo pizza and the scalloped dinner. Her pizza was good mine was very poor, 6 small scallops a baked potato- that was several days old and slaw that was rancid. I told the waitress but she didn’t seem to care. With 2 drinks was 79.00 . I was still hungry, went to the Happy crab- order myself fried fish and fries with slaw for 12.00 -excellent meal. Don’t wast your time and money. Go to the HappyCrab ! Food: 1

My wife and I ordered the Chicken Alfredo pizza and the scalloped dinner. While her pizza was decent, mine was quite disappointing. It came with only six small scallops, a baked potato that seemed several days old, and some slaw that was spoiled. I mentioned this to the waitress, but she didn't seem concerned. Our total with two drinks came to $79, and I was still hungry afterward. I ended up going to the Happy Crab, where I ordered fried fish and fries with slaw for just $12, and it was an excellent meal. Save your time and money—head to the Happy Crab instead!

"If I could give this place zero stars, I definitely would. My girlfriend and I were looking forward to enjoying hibachi and drinks, but our experience at Tony's was far from what we had hoped. From the moment we were seated at our hibachi table, things went downhill. Our waitress was incredibly unprofessional—perhaps the worst I've encountered in my life. We placed our orders for drinks and food right away, but she seemed disinterested, even forgetting our order after 15 minutes. It then took an astonishing 40 minutes for our drinks to arrive. To make matters worse, she confusedly told us the bar was closed, then changed her mind. I found this especially odd for a Friday night. Our chef did not come out until an hour and a half had passed. When our drinks finally arrived, our waitress asked if we wanted soup or salad with our meals—something I've never experienced at hibachi restaurants, where both are usually standard. My girlfriend ordered soup while I opted for salad, but neither arrived. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty, our waitress seemed preoccupied with the one other table she was attending to. We eventually had to flag down a different waitress to ask for drink refills since ours were empty the entire meal. The second round of drinks arrived at the same time as our takeout boxes. At the end of the night, I mentioned we never received our soup or salad and requested to take them to go. She returned with only the salads, completely forgetting the soup. When I asked for the check, it never came after twenty minutes, so I went to the front desk to get it myself. There was our waitress, chatting with friends at the bar. She noticed me and hurried to get the check, but then took the liberty of adding an 18% gratuity to a bill that totaled over $150. As for the food, it was mediocre at best—I could get better Chinese from the takeout place down the road. The drinks were average, and the menu did not show prices, likely so they could surprise customers with the bill. My total included two hibachi meals (steak and chicken, plus chicken and shrimp) and three mojitos, which came to over $150. Remember, I basically acted as my own waiter the entire evening! We will definitely not be returning to Tony’s. It used to be good over a year ago, but something must have changed—perhaps it’s the management? Save your time and money; this place is simply not worth it."

"Zero stars should be an option. By far, the worst service ever! The owner has no idea what customer service means. And the food is equally as bad. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy! My experience tonight felt discriminatory in nature. My husband, kids and I met some family there to watch the performing band and enjoy the evening with dinner and drinks. My family already had a table when we got there and my kids sat with them until our table was ready. We sat on the back benches (which did not require a reservation) while waiting for our table. Since my kids were sitting at my family’s table, my husband tried to put in an order for their food to that server, and was rudely told he couldn’t do that because he “can’t just come in and order ahead of people waiting.” We were so confused, since my kids were sitting at their table and we had already been there for over an hour. So my husband told him it was fine he went to the bar to order the food and bring it to where they were sitting himself since the current server refused to take the order. The bartender agreed with my husband that the server should not have done that. After about another half hour, the hostess came to us to tell us our original table for 6 was ready, but since my kids were already sitting with my aunt, we told them they can give that bigger table to someone else and give us a smaller table for him and I. She said ok and seated us at the 2 person table next to my aunt and kids. About 10 minutes later, my kid’s food came out and we let them move over to sit at the smaller table and eat. A few minutes after that, a waitress came over to take our order, to which my husband told her we had already placed our order earlier and did not want to order anything more at that time. She got flustered and told my husband he has to order at the table and can’t order food at the bar and eat at a table. This was now the second person who has given us a problem with trying to order food for our kids, so understandably, we were annoyed. My husband asked to speak to a manager. Shortly after, someone came over and identified himself as the owner. My husband was explaining the situation to him and the owner was defensive from the beginning using the excuse that it was Labor Day weekend. Halfway into the conversation, my husband noticed the owner had brought the bouncer with him. Mind you, we were there with our three kids, one of them being a 1 year old baby. And this guy brought a bouncer to come talk to a paying guest?! Was he planning on kicking out a family who waited over 1 hour for a table and was feeding their kids at a smaller table than they reserved?! At that point, I told the owner we were leaving and to bring me trays for my other two kid’s food, which they were midway into eating. I’m not sure what kind of “rules” this establishment has for sitting at a table and ordering food, but from previous complaints on google, it’s obvious this isn’t the first time someone had an issue here with this. They should be ashamed of the way they treat customers. To top it off, the food was bland and mediocre at best. This service was so bad and inexplainable, it felt discriminatory."
