"What a great little spot. The inside is super cozy and the service is fantastic. They do have a few outside tables in front as well. The food was amazing. All the pasta is fresh made and it shows in the flavor. The Emma's meatballs were delicious as well as the grilled octopus, the barata cheese special, and all of the appetizers we had. The chicken and shrimp fra Diavlo was amazing. The lamb special in steak specials I was told were great as well and perfectly cooked. The eggplant parm ravioli special was a hit for those that ordered that. Gnocchi And the chicken cutlet and pasta were delicious as well. Save room for dessert because they have some great selections as well. The bandino was heavenly as well as the whiskey butter cake. Definitely will be going back here. Best part, BYOB!"

"When our meal arrived, we noticed that there was a generous portion of corned beef but only a small amount of cabbage. I asked our waiter if they were also running low on cabbage, and he assured me that wasn’t the case. We were quite disheartened by the serving size because this is usually the one time I get to enjoy cabbage, and I was really looking forward to it! One highlight of the evening was the Shamrock Martini, which was delicious, although at $13 each, it felt a bit pricey. Still, we ended up ordering four, totaling $52. In the end, our total bill came to $143.14. While that might not seem exorbitant, on a day like St. Patrick's Day when there are so many dining options, I expected a bit more, especially from Old Town Pub. I do want to mention that our waiter, James, was very friendly and attentive, and we appreciated that. Thank you."

"If you are looking for a memorable dining experience, look no further! The appetizer specials were amazing! Tempura fried squash blossoms stuffed with prosciutto and ricotta, a single egg yolk raviolo with truffle, peanut butter pork belly that was a flavor bomb! Dry aged NY strip and ribeye that are ridiculously tender flavorful. (Better than Capital Grill or Morton's) The #1 grade tuna sear with Maine Lobster corn spring roll special was the best tuna dish I have ever tasted. Impeccable professional service. Everything was perfection! The highest food quality, attention to detail and service. Toscano is innovative and very much well worth the price."

"as soon as i walked into the restaurant, i fell in love with the vintage 1940’s decor. our waitress was super friendly and approachable. i ordered tomato soup (soup of the day) which was super creamy and reminded me of a vodka pasta sauce. i alsoordered the black angus burger which was delicious. the fries that they served it with were topped with crumbled parmesan whichwas the perfect finishing touch for the meal. the total wait time for the food couldn’t have been more than 15 minutes —super fast service!"

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most restaurants to be overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we walked in - that's a huge plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."
