"On the downside, the drink options are limited to cans (only Coke products) or bottled water. If you finish your drink before your meal arrives, you'll have to buy another one. Additionally, the inside of the restaurant was uncomfortably warm, likely due to the age of the air conditioning system and the fact that it was over 100°F that day. With a hot day, outdated AC, and an open kitchen, the warmth inside was to be expected. Overall, while it may not be an exceptional dining experience, the food is good and could make for an interesting local story for travelers. It’s not the kind of place you’d write home about, but if you're hungry and looking for something better than fast food, this restaurant will do the trick."

The food made me feel unwell. I ordered a shrimp po' boy, and shortly after eating it, I started to feel sick. The floors were sticky, and my shoes were practically glued to them. I only noticed there was no health score posted after I received my food. I genuinely want to support black-owned businesses, but this experience was disappointing. If you care about your health, I recommend avoiding this place.
