"Japanese and Thai food are among my favorites, and I think it's fair to say that I have quite a bit of experience with Asian cuisine. I discovered Osaka Asian Fusion during a shopping trip it's located in a strip mall about a year ago, and have been there several times. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I had issues with the food quality when I was there about two months ago. The soup I ordered was tasteless. I simply did not eat it. But that did not stop me from returning last week because their sushi had been very good. I gave them another shot. However, my last trip a few days ago was a disaster. I tried a different soup one with pork dumplings in a clear broth. The dumplings were delicious but the broth tasted like salty dishwasher. I also ordered a Pink Lady sushi roll. The first piece had what appeared to be a short, brown rodent hair on it. OK, I removed it, didn't eat that piece. Two pieces later, I discovered a string of steel wool in the rice ! and that was the final straw. I brought these matters to the attention to the waitress who had a conversation with someone else the cook? that I could not understand. The sushi was taken off my bill. In past visits as well as this one, the sushi was presented artfully. Service had been attentive and pleasant, which makes it hard for me to write this review because I think the owner is the waitress. I certainly did not anticipate any issues. But there are some problems in the kitchen, apparently, and for this reason I will not return."

How anyone has rated this less than 5 stars is crazy. I absolutely love this place. Small and cozy. Very friendly staff. Fantastic food. Quick service. Good prices. I make it a point to go at least once a month.

Idk what the two bad reviews are talking about, probably just a couple karens so I would ignore anything they have to say. This sushi is a million times better than anything you can get at a supermarket. I have been in there several times this year and my experience there has always been amazing! Extremely friendly staff great atmosphere and the food is top notch! you can tell they put a lot of effort into it because it looks like a work of art! When I really want to treat myself I go there. We haven't been here since the beginning of the pandemic. Back then, the portions and quality started to seem to suffer. We wanted sushi last night and I looked on Yelp and saw they have new owners and good recommendations. We ordered takeout. I ordered sushi a la carte, my wife ordered teriyaki steak, and my daughter ordered a couple of rolls. Bottom line: super great across the board. For me personally, the sushi was fresh and excellent! And nice portion sizes. The others loved their meals too. Really good. So happy there's a great place here without having to run into Saratoga springs. Well done!

We have been coming to Osaka pre-pandemic- pandemic-new management and now-post pandemic and through it all this quaint Sushi restaurant has justifiably made it through the challenges. Osaka Asian Fusion is a gem. The new management has a proper hands-on approach with a staff that seeks to deliver a welcoming environment, quality fish, excellent menu choices of sushi, cooked foods and drinks. Like many good Sushi restaurants it comes down to the quality of the fish and the details of making sushi, which is considered an art.
