"I say that was my first time in Palio. Overall, it was a very beautiful experience. The location for the restaurant is semi-formal, but very comfortable. Definitely a place where you could wear something nice to dine, but you don't have to. The waiting staff is excellent. The waitress who visited me the evening was very friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was very delicious. The waiting period from order to service was very minimal...despite being very busy in the restaurant. The food had a very good presentation. The table ordered the eggplant and salmon dishes. Followed by a Tiramisu for Dessert. The only complaint I have concerns drinks. Not that the drinks were terrible. The drinks were very well balanced. The drinks were very delicious. The drinks are a bit expensive, but honestly they are worth it. The complaint I'm referring to is for the employees. I felt really bad for them because they were lubricated with beverage orders and they have the smallest area to work. The bartender actually mixes drinks on a shelf. It seems very strange and borderline unprofessional to do for them or to expect this. For the quality of drinks that the bartender makes, they need a real area to make these drinks. Apart from that, I will return to this restaurant. I'll be back for dinner and desserts and drinks."

The food was excellent and the service was equally great. We enjoyed the atmosphere, although a bit loud, it was still a terrific dinner date out.

Palio was fantastic! No reservation required on Tuesday. The food was great. The culture and mood were fun. I'm new to the gluten-free lifestyle and their cauliflower pizza was phenomenal. Great drinks and service. Very recommended!

We loved our visit to Palio today. Both meals were delicious, the salmon was perfect! When thirsty, the strawberry limoncello sangria was truly unique and tasty. The service was friendly and fast, and the outdoor terrace is nice when the weather allowed.

I have been to Palio twice and both experiences have been absolutely incredible. The food is phenomenal. TJ was our server last night and he was so personable and fun. If you haven't been here, please come! They are so reasonable priced for a made-from-scratch kitchen as well. I will be back again! View menu

My mom came into town and I knew I wanted to take her to my favorite restaurant, Palio! They did not disappoint. I always get their chicken mostarda dish. It is absolutely divine. We had Ana as our waitress and she was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The espresso steak was DELICIOUS as well. The garage doors were open which was great for our baby, who prefers the outdoors and was able to sleep soundly for the entirety of dinner. We can’t wait to go back again soon!

Ambiance: I came here during the evening and the lighting is perfect. Atmosphere: It could get noisier I imagine, but wasn't all that noisy when I ate. Food: the pasta was really good! The noodles were a perfect al dente, and the sauce was creamy and cheesy and not too oily or dry. The desert (not pictured was very good as well. The Pane di Caramello was the desert I had. Overall: I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner dates and there is a private room for big parties as well! I will be coming back here to try other dishes! :

Lots of places closed on the 4th of July but this place was open for business. Holy cow. DELICIOUS. Totally found a gem here. The service was great. Not only was he prompt, welcoming, and knowledgeable on the menu, he helped us find somewhere to see fireworks. Awesome. Everything at the restaurant is made in house AND IT SHOWS. The pasta was incredible. The food took a while but I imagine it was due to preparation. It was so good it was forgiven. They gave us a complimentary shot of limoncello to end the meal. We really enjoyed our meal here. View menu

I would suggest a reservation on weekends because they get really busy. We did not have one and the only seating was at the bar, which we didn 't mind because we heard so many great things about this place and we were super excited to try it. The bartender, although EXTREMELY busy, was amazing. We sat down and she said 'I 'll be right with you in a minute, I 'm just catching up, but in the meantime you should think about starting off with our poutine special we have this week ' IT WAS AMAZING. And she made me the best old fashioned I 've ever had. She said they used brown sugar in them which was the 'secret '. Our pasta was delicious also. A great choice for dinner and happy we ended up at t...

"When in town you just have to try this place. A great friend recommended this amazing spot for lunch while I was visiting Grand Rapids very recently from Charleston, SC. Needless to say, my buddy was on point. First thing I noticed aside from the quaint nature of the bar area was no televisions. And I’m mentioning this as a positive. You rarely, if ever, see this anymore yet it practically guarantees patrons will at some point engage others. Meeting good folks can be the spice of life. But onto the essentials: the service and food were incredible. Littlebird has many options for basically every taste and diet, but their smashburger garners major accolades. I was going in that direction when I spotted what I was told was an upgrade to an old favorite… the twice-fried Korean chicken sandwich. Mind was blown, and I rarely speak in hyperbole. For starters, they bake their own bread for sandwiches. And I mean this wholeheartedly when I say this was the best bread I’ve ever consumed. It’s perfection. Don’t take my word for it… go experience it for yourself. It melts in your mouth and was the perfect accompaniment and complement to this sandwich. The slaw and sauce just take it to the next level. As a side I chose the house oven-roasted potatoes. Or that’s how they appeared and tasted. Phenomenal. Washed down with a Mexican Coke. It all works. Cannot go wrong. I felt compelled to come here and write this because I was that singularly impressed with this establishment from top to bottom. And I live in one of the best food cities in America in Charleston. Also, a big shout out to day manager Caleb. We got to talking and he was just an awesome dude and a great representative of his employer. He also took time to help with walking directions to the other side of town. Looking forward to our next visit to GR and Littlebird will be the first stop on the restaurant tour. Thanks again!"
