"I found the restaurants presented during our DDD search and because we were on Carolina, we had to do bbq. We arrived at 11am (opening) and were the first customers for the day. We were immediately greeted, sitting and approached. We ordered the pineapple basilica limonade, delivered 5 6 minutes before the margarita pomegranate, which was ordered at the same time. The drinks were delicious, but wished they had brought together. We've ever paid $9. We decided to share the DDD dishes: Unproper Charcuterie, who had pulled pork, brisket, ribs, Andouille sausage, salt vinegar chips, pimento cheese dip, coleslaw, and hush puppies. The pulled pig was good, but nothing exceptionally remarkable. The Brisket was probably one of the best I had. My husband cleaned the rib bones and said they were excellent and delicate. The sausage had great taste and a moment when you were in it a bit. The chips were good overall, but did not taste fresh and one or two even tasted a bit. The Pimento cheese was very good and the perfect tangent to complicate the chips. The Coleslaw was delicious and even better with a few squirts of the Carolina vinegar sauce. The hush puppies were perfectly cooked and covered with a sweet melted butter. The meal was quite expensive at $30 and enough for two hungry people with a little leftover, but not enough for a box to go. The sauces were all very good. The spicy Hoisin was not really spicy (and I am a weaker when it comes to heat), but was SO good at the Briske. The Mary Bs and Carolina Senf were good on the pulled pig and ribs. I think my men fave was the Queen Bs who had a little sweet taste. Tong's Thai sauce was really good, but would be delicious on noodles. It seemed a little space for our meal, but was probably intended for salmon or other duck. The setting and atmosphere 5 stars! Super sweet! The service 3 stars felt a bit slow considering that it should be prepared well before time and nothing we had done to order. It was a lot to do, the closer it came to noon, but we were there to check for an hour and 15 minutes from the order that seemed like a long time for a quick bite. Another server or two might have prevented it. The food 4 stars just because the house chips (always a fave to me) did not taste fresh and the pulled pig was a bit dry. Value 4 stars? I understand that food prices are rising, but sharing a $50 meal for lunch seems very high."
