"However, when we arrived, my husband was first told by the front desk staff that there was no order under my name. Then, they said it would be ready in two minutes, despite our prior confirmation that it was ready before we left home. After waiting ten minutes, he finally received our food. The biggest disappointment came when we opened the entree containers. It was a chaotic mix of rice, beans, meat, maduros, sauce, and what looked like pico de gallo all jumbled together—it was a total mess (see attached pictures). I hadn’t even wanted a sauce, but the online ordering system required me to select one. I've never encountered a restaurant that combines a side sauce with the food instead of serving it separately. Our kids refused to eat any of it, which is understandable. I was genuinely shocked by how they served the food. I've ordered takeout from Papis many times, and their entrees usually come in divided containers to keep everything separate. Beans are always served in a separate container with their natural juices. This experience was unlike anything I've seen before, and the presentation was definitely unappealing. If you decide to order from the new KSM location, be aware of this issue. I hope this is just a temporary situation and that they will resolve these problems, as the food itself is usually quite good. I will continue to support Papis when I can visit the Ponce/Myrtle location in person, but the KSM location has some serious shortcomings."

Wow, the service from the new waitress Dee was fantastic! I loved her energy and her recommendations for the palomilla steak and churros. We will definitely be returning to see her again!

I ordered takeout, and it was absolutely amazing! Every flavor I was hoping for was satisfied. The veggie plate was both hearty and delicious! I'm really thankful to have found such a delightful veggie dish in the city, especially with a Caribbean twist.

Mango Natural Juice was delicious once again, and the Empanada Sampler was consistently great. However, I found the Pollo Vaca Frita to be a bit disappointing; the shredded chicken was tough in more than half of the serving. On the bright side, the plantains and rice were delicious! View menu

The delivery was quick, and the portion sizes were great for the price. I ordered additional plantains for a dollar, and they gave me five, which were absolutely delicious! The chicken was a bit dry, but it was well-seasoned. Personally, I'm a fan of sauces. The presentation of the meal was stunning, too!

While I was dining, it was exciting to see Atlanta celebrity Mykko Montana walk in and have his ex-girlfriend serve him empanadas. That moment felt so genuine and made me appreciate this place even more. The vibe here makes you feel at home, allowing us to truly be ourselves. Our community needs to experience this amazing Cuban and Spanish food—it's definitely evolving with new menu items, and I'm all for it! And don’t forget to try the green sauce!

The service was friendly, and the location is great. Parking can be a bit challenging, but we were fortunate to find a spot right away. As for the food, it was just mediocre at best. My Vaca Frita was overly seasoned, and the Plátano Maduro wasn't cooked all the way through. The yellow rice was also just okay. My wife's Lechón Asado resembled more of a stew. We ordered tostones but didn't receive them, which really brought down our experience to 2 stars. View menu

Papi's is a must stop for Caribbean and Cuban food. The service is loud and friendly, you got a small but lively bar, and the place is dripping with Cubano soul. Got the Papi bowl with pork and everything from the tender and delicious pork to the fried sweet and crispy plantains absolutely slapped. Growing up in the Yucatan peninsula we love our Cubano neighbors and visiting Papi's was like visiting home. If I'm ever in the neighborhood I'm definitely stopping by again.

I’ve ordered from here twice and each time has been fresh and delicious! I love the hearty and juicy sandwiches and wraps, especially the Papis sandwich, Pork Wrap, and Jerk Chicken Wrap, all served with crispy fries that are delicious. I also sampled their Cuban platter with yucca fries, cheese balls, and more, as well as the chicken soup served with rice, which is plenty for two bowls—everything was fantastic! I highly recommend their crab cakes as well; they have great texture and flavor! And I absolutely adore their mango shake—it's just perfect! It’s hard to find places that use real mango instead of syrup; I wish they offered it in gallon sizes! I was in the mood for dessert, so I orde...

"My husband and friend came in to grab a sandwich. They have eaten here countless times and never had any issues, until today. They ordered two sandwiches, grabbed their drinks and sat at a table. 57 minutes later, they still haven’t received their food. or any update on how long it will be/sorry it’s taking a bit longer than usual). When asked how much longer it would be before, one of the staff said they were doing a catering order first. catering orders are made in advance and you would think they would serve the customers that are in store waiting). My husband then asked for his money back and stated he actually needed to get home not to worry about it. The woman at the counter had amply Attitude and stated the sandwiches were coming out right now. Do they just want them to wrap them up. My husband said that was OK. He really just needed to get going. The girl at the front then yells to the back “nah just throw them away they don’t want them”. The manger came out and spoke for a split second, again they had been here over an hour at this point, and after the attitude from the check out gal my husband wanted to wash his hands clean of it. The manger just said “oh it will be back on your card in a business day or so”I would seek better training for your staff. All of the company supers/project managers would come in and eat together weekly. Unfortunately we will not be back."
