the first time here and the food was great. many decisions on the menu and the bananenpudding was great! even better was the pecan pier

I visited this restaurant for the first time and the food was excellent. There were many options on the menu, and the banana pudding was delicious! Even better was the pancake I ordered, the "Crooked Pig". It was so delicious!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The brisket really stood out to me, particularly the flavorful charred edges. While the ribs were a bit on the dry side for my liking and required more effort to eat off the bone, they were still enjoyable. View menu

Nice little spot. I was impressed mostly by the brisket. I loved the flavored smoke burnt edges! the ribs were a little dry for my liking and it was more chew off the bone rather than fall of the bone but still good. Beans and potato salad were good!

it's been more than 10 years since I was in houston and came back to the opposite, reminded me of good food. this place was on my list. Although there are many places in the city, I deliberately went to this place and was not disappointed. the service was great, eating fresh and everything was amazing. miss this kind of food.

I really love this restaurant and their BBQ, I truly do. I always look forward to indulging in a chicken sandwich from here. However, during my recent visit, I was disappointed to find a fly in my macaroni. I informed the cashier about it, and she instructed a young female coworker to discard it. The coworker appeared confused and stood there hesitantly, unsure of how to handle the situation. They asked me if there was anything else they could do for me. I expressed my concern about the cleanliness of the restaurant and the potential lack of adherence to health standards, despite being a fan of the place. View menu

I love this location and I love BBQ, I really do. I always look forward for treating myself to a chicken sandwich from this location on the weekends. Unfortunately, there were flies in their macaroni when I went there recently. I told the cashier about that and she repeatedly told one of their employees (young woman) to dump it out, but that employee that was told to throw the macaroni out because it had flies- seemed so confused by that command and was standing there playing charades with the cashier lady all confused because she was asked to throw it away due to flies. I’m so disappointed, I was on my way to work and so hungry and craving a chef salad from Pappas BBQ. I haven’t had one in a long time, so I decided to stop by 8777 Main St location on my way to work and buy one. I order from the drive through and couldn’t wait to get to work to eat my salad before my shift started. When I open the container the disappointment and couldn’t believe what I had in front of me. I had paid $15.10 for this, and on top of it burn meat!!!! I was like where is the rest of my salad?who’s leftovers are this? Unbelievable!!! 12/22/2021 I spent $43.08 today 1 whole pecan pie , 1 large lemonade 1 slice beef sandwich the brisket was chunks of fat see photo this was at 11:30AM so you would think the beef would be fresh not dry it looked like it had been pieces they cut off of something to throw away . I contacted the corporate office they sent me an auto response saying they would give my feedback to the general manager.
