This is my second time to Pete's burgers. First time was earlier this week whenever I had ordered the best BLT this side of texas. Well I came in this evening and I ordered again the best BLT on this side of Texas but almost choked on the bacon my teeth won't even go through the bacon. It was horrible and a huge waste of my time and money.

We frequented Pete’s Burger when it first opened, we made a stop by there this weekend and the quality of food has drastically changed. The burger patties are probably from a box of frozen burgers , The meat is no longer made daily and cooked to order. They really need to revisit where they first started because that was good and what they are doing now is not.

Good little place for a quick burger fries. They are almost always packed. Nothing fancy, but the atmosphere is pretty cool. Update: Just tried the Philly cheese steak sandwich on the request of the guy behind the counter. I had no expectation going in, but OMG it was good. I will definitely get it again. I looked through some of these photos and didn’t really see the appeal of this place. The burgers don’t look all that crazy to me. I decided to try it anyway, and I’m glad I did. I will definitely be a regular. I can see why people love it and I can see why they would be disappointed, but me personally, I like little places like this. Not something I would drive across Houston for, but this is good for locals.

Very popular small place with an antique 70 's feel to it I must say. First time there and a Philly Cheesteak was on special. I asked the cashier which one would you try if it was your first time. She replied "the burger. So I ordered it and it was wellprepared with grilled onions and a bunch of fries in a paper basket with a side of jalapenos. Free refills always get a thumbsup from me. Therefore the 5 stars. However the Chili Cheese fries are just average. Would go back but get there before 12pm asthere is a little wait if you do.

I’ve been going to Pete’s for years, I’d say since I was about 10, over the years this place has done an amazing job at maintaining its culture and environment, Today a young man name Kagen helped me (hope I’m spelling that correctly), He was super energetic and positive, And showed me exemplary service, he helped me in the restaurant and as I was leaving he was sweeping up the parking lot, making sure the place was clean, the food is amazing it’s like eating a home cooked meal I kid you not! If you’re looking for a hometown feel with great food and a unique diner feel this is the place to go!
