"We were intrigued by this restaurant, as many Vietnamese establishments offer vegan options, although they often require modifications. They informed us that all of their Pho dishes were vegan and vegetarian when made with tofu and sweet broth. I was skeptical of this claim, as traditional Vietnamese cuisine typically includes ingredients like fish sauce and oyster sauce. When I inquired about these ingredients, they assured me that the dishes were vegetarian. I politely requested to speak with the chef due to my allergies. The chef explained that all of their sauces contained oyster sauce, and other noodle dishes such as pad thai contained fish sauce. I asked if these could be left out, but he replied that all the dishes were pre-prepared and could not be altered."

I absolutely adore the Mankato stir fry at this restaurant. Even though it is supposed to be spicy, the addition of a great spice blend is what sets it apart. Just make sure to ask for it extra spicy if you want a kick. Overall, it is still the best brewery in Mankato in my opinion.

I had a long and stressful day before even considering this restaurant as an option, however the Pho soup that I received from this restaurant has to be one of the tastiest, warmest and delicious meals I could have eaten in such an area. I do believe a bowl would benefit with a to-go order (as I did not receive one) but overall a wonderful and enjoyable experience.

This restaurant is a wonderful budget-friendly spot that exudes a cozy, intimate vibe. While I can't speak to the authentic Vietnamese cuisine, I can definitely attest to the rich and delicious flavors of the dishes. The food here truly has a soul-soothing quality that leaves you satisfied. Even after sitting overnight, the flavors remained excellent and just as delicious on the second day. View menu

I’ve been here several times, there were two separate occasions where I found ants in my flavorless phó and another time when the tofu was moldy. Both times they replaced my food. We also had the shrimp tempura, which looked nothing like the menu picture (the shrimp was rolled in a egg roll wrapper instead of panko). The food is average, nothing to rave about. Service is quick and polite, and I’ve never seen it busy here.

Stopped in for carry out. Ordered veggie fried rice, added bean sprouts egg, and an order of spring rolls. Took 20 min. Got home fried rice had no veggies outside of bean sprouts, green onions carrots. And was flavorless mushy. Nothing fried about it. I threw it away. Spring rolls were good...got 2, pic on menu showed 4 but I am sure the description read 2. Peanut sauce was awesome. I would order spring rolls again, but that's it.

I wrote this review to see if they were open and was appalled to see only 3.7 stars. If you don't like this place, you don't like pho, absolute best broth I've ever had. On the sweeter side broth wise, and super fragrant - go elsewhere if you want Bland broth. The egg rolls are amazing and big. I've eaten here many times and can't make me try other things because the Pho is so damn good. TLDR: this place deserves much better than 3.7 stars, eat here and you will see why. View menu

Prices were cheap and everything was very well cooked. Seems of the dishes were not as I expected or accustomed to from other Vietnamese restaurants I 've had--the tempura shrimp were shrimp wrapped in wonton wrappers and fried, and the spring rolls had a lot of iceberg lettuce in them. The bbq pork Com Tam was not bad, though again, not at all what I would 've described as barbecue so much as just seasoned and grilled. The cream cheese wontons were some of the best I 've ever had, however! Service was very quick. Would visit again.

We were intrigued by this place as we knew many Vietnamese restaurants offer vegan options, albeit with modifications. The staff informed us that any of the stir-fries could be made vegan or vegetarian by substituting vegetables and tofu. I was skeptical, considering traditional Vietnamese dishes typically contain ingredients like fish sauce and oyster sauce. When I inquired about this, the staff assured me that the stir-fries were vegetarian. I politely requested to speak with the chef due to my "allergies". The chef confirmed that all of their sauces contained oyster sauce and that dishes like pad Thai contained fish sauce. Unfortunately, he explained that these ingredients could not be om...

"**Date Night at Nolabelle** We had a fantastic evening at Nolabelle for their soft opening. Given that it was a trial run, we didn't expect everything to be perfect, but overall, it was a delightful experience. For appetizers, Michael chose the pretzel-covered goat cheese balls while I opted for the blueberry chicken tacos. Both were tasty, though a bit more seasoning would have taken them to the next level. Having salt and pepper on the table would have made the appetizers truly standout. Next, I had the arugula apple salad, and Michael tried the tomato bisque with a grilled cheese dipper. My salad was excellent, but unfortunately, the grilled cheese came out cold, the cheese wasn't melted, and the soup was lukewarm. It tasted good nonetheless, but I'm sure both dishes would have been much better served hot. For our entrees, Michael had the shrimp and grits, and I had the pork schnitzel. The shrimp and grits were seasoned perfectly, and the grits were the best I’ve ever had! The fries with cheese sauce that accompanied my meal were crispy and delicious, and my salad was bright and fresh. However, the pork cutlet was overcooked and a bit tough. Despite these few drawbacks, it was one of the best meals we've had in Mankato. I genuinely hope this place succeeds! The drinks were good and reasonably priced, and the waitstaff was friendly and very apologetic about the slow service."
