"Stopped by early on a Sunday after having breakfast elsewhere; needed ‘dessert.’ This place is amazing! The manager was the friendliest and he was very accommodating and willing to answer all the questions that my date had about the restaurant (and its history! . Didn’t order any main meals but the menu was very expansive — lots of delicious options. I also loved that it was a digital menu...“scan me” was taped to the table. I had the tiramisu (loved!! with a cappuccino and my date had the olive cake and an espresso. Everything was fresh and made from scratch. My date claimed that his cake wasn’t “olivey” enough (for him but it was still good. Overall, would definitely return for a full course and also recommend to others. (Oh, and lots of outdoor seating during COVID"

The restaurant is in a really lovely location with lots of outdoor seating. The service was great! The food overall was good. The pastas are homemade and it did make the dishes more special. View menu

Absolutely love this place. Best squid ink pasta I've ever had, and the bread they serve is sooo good, especially with the chilled crushed tomatoes. Charming and casual spot that's perfect for really any occasion.

We had a fantastic experience at Piccoli! The staff was welcoming and friendly, the food was exceptional, and the location was perfect for our family dinner. Each dish was delicious and authentic. Thank you to everyone for making our visit so enjoyable. We are looking forward to returning!

My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was perfectly prepared and was delicious. The team there is attentive without being intrusive and very friendly and upbeat. The atmosphere carried me across the Atlantic and placed me in the heart of Italy. I would definitely recommend this place. View menu

My favorite place in Brooklyn for proper vongole (clams and pasta! I’ve been frequenting for a few years. Pasta is always homemade with a healthy dash of saffron, garlic and herbs sitting in company with small delicate clams. Once in a blue moon, the dish is way too citrusy, but it’s mostly consistent here. Gabriel the server is the most friendly, courteous and professional. Always makes us feel so welcome grazie! It sits on a more quieter corner than the rest of park slope (my family’s neighborhood since ‘50.

This is the best Italian food in Park Slope, perhaps Brooklyn. People rave about the home made pasta at the vastly overrated Pasta Louise, but Piccoli Trattoria’s is far better, and served in a relaxing space where no one is trying to kick you out in an hour to free up your table for the next seating. I have never been disappointed by a meal, and I always go with high expectations. I’ve had almost everything on the menu. I’m a bit nervous about posting this review because I love that I can always get a table on a few days notice (they take reservations). But they’ve earned this review, over and over and over.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
