"After weeding through a multitude of restaurant choices for our anniversary dinner, we selected the Newtown Piccolo; excellent pick of the litter. Menu was extensive, so we needed time to narrow down our final selection. Our waitpersons (especially Greg) were bubbling with personality, and catered to our every whim, offering constructive suggestions which we heeded. The lightly breaded and fried calamari were small but tender, ample in portion (I could only eat half). The house salads were unremarkable, served with a decent balsamic vinaigrette on the side. The shrimp scampi was superb, and Greg had no problem subbing out some lemon risotto for the pasta normally provided. My veal dish was generous in volume and cut up into the crab, asparagus and perfectly cooked fettuccini all slathered in a delicate and ample brandy sauce; we could only finish half of the entrees, so many leftovers to look forward to. Greg wanted our first trip to this place to be a memorable one, so he offered up two free desserts of our choice to complement our special occasion. Again, high quality delectables in the form of a chocolate cake, and and a peanut butter mousse filling in a dark chocolate shell coated with crushed nuts. We WILL be back again, and will hope that Greg (and trainee Nicole) will be working on that night. A most pleasant anniversary meal, moderately priced."

I made a reservation because we knew it would be busy, and we were seated right away. The service was excellent, and the waiter even offered to make me a new pizza when I thought mine was overcooked. It was a perfect experience!

Brian is our server frequently and he is excellent at timing the delivery of our food to the table, as well as adding table spices, oil, and other amenities. The rest of the staff also work hard and are part of a dedicated team. The service is top-notch, and we typically dine in for dinner. The price per person ranges from $20 to $30.

We had Piccolo Trattoria cater our daughter’s high school graduation party at our house. They were outstanding from beginning to end: the assistance in planning months before to the day of the party where the servers helped me actually enjoy the party! Piccolo's catered my daughter's bridal shower at our home this past Saturday. As always, the food was delicious and the presentation was impeccable. All of the guests, especially those on the groom's side who had not experienced their cuisine, were very impressed. Many guests said it was the most beautiful shower with the best food that they'd ever attended. Piccolo's has been catering events for us for over a decade and never disappoints. I would highly recommend this restaurant and catering service.

I booked Piccolo Trattoria to cater a high school prom, and am very pleased with the result. The meal was great, and the service was seamless. It isn't easy to feed 200+ picky eaters, but Bree and her team did a wonderful job. The team at Piccolo Trattoria was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. They put together a delicious menu with my small budget, and were patient and responsive to all of my many, many questions. The serving team was professional, clean, and courteous. They did a great job, and I will definitely consider them again for future events.
