It was closed, and I mean for good. We almost got locked inside. Restaurants in this location never succeed, maybe should be a different type of business.

The service is impeccable but the food is extremely bland. My filet, which I asked for med rare, didn't have an ounce of flavor and came out med well. Just not an interesting selection. But again, service is terrific

The lobster app was amazing served w/figs and we had a ver light pasta dish with peas and asparagus. It really was delicious. The service is absolutely the best.. will definitely return even thought we will drive for 40 minutes- it is so worth the drive!! View menu

This is what every restaurant should strive to be. The service was 5 star and the food was amazing. Everything from appetizers to dessert was perfect. The wait staff was welcoming and extremely professional and we felt very appreciated. It also has a great location overlooking the harbor. This will be our new go to place in Port Jefferson.

Great food, waiters attentive but on a Saturday night there were 4 tables in the whole place and the hostess had her young child at the front desk not a good first impression for the menu prices and look of the place they are going for. On May 18th, I made a reservation for June 4th for two people at 6PM at the PJ Harbour Club. Imagine my shock and embarrassment when I arrived with my client and the restaurant was closed! No call, no email, no text, no communication whatsoever! They left me standing on the steps of the restaurant scrambling to find a Saturday evening reservation in Port Jefferson. Thankfully, after several calls, we found a restaurant who would seat us. I have to be honest I was not impressed. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and the Waite staff was very attentive. My issue lies with first the drinks, my boyfriend always gets vodka and club soda. Never have we ever been charged for 2 separate drinks. They charged us $14 for the vodka and then $3 for the club soda. Absolutely ridiculous. We've been to nicer more expensive restaurants and never were charged $17 for vodka and club. 2 nd I ordered off the price fix menu the seared tuna. It was awful, the tuna itself was very chewy and the dish itself was very bland. The customer at table next to us had same dish and sent it back. I should have but didn't. Extremely disappointing from beginning to end. This was a Saturday night 7 PM dinner for a party of five. Only a handful of tables seated when we arrived. Service was beyond slow, no upper mgmt. or owners seen, only young wait staff. We waited 40 minutes before bread was brought to the table. Seafood appetizer was so bad, lobster was absolutely disgusting, smelled fishy, shrimp cocktail was soggy and warm and the oysters didn’t taste fresh.
