"Ive lived in Jacksonville for many years and have eaten at the Expresso many times. Recently I lunched there with a friend and was very disappointed with both food and service. I ordered the Chinese Chicken salad. Waited. Was Informed they were “out”, then I ordered another item. Then at the last minute was told yes they could make the original order. So OK but then I got the salad………oil dressing and not the usual one) poorly put together and did not resemble that usual salad in any way. . Just awful. Not wanting to make a fuss I put up with it. I wanted to complain then but decided to wait and call the manager. I got Alexis the asst manager who talked over me and told me I had waited too long 11/2 days)to let her know. She accused me of being rude because I asked for a refund. She whined that their servers were minimum wage so what did I expect? I asked her to have the real manager call me but “O he’s on vacation”. It saddens me to have to write this after so many years of happy dining there. Customers beware. The quality has gone way down at this location."

Very good coffee and a pleasant atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating available. You are requested to bus your table and use the 'condiment station ' to retrieve water, utensils, condiments, napkins, etc. I had the vegetarian breakfast with coffee for about $20 usd, a relatively higher price.

I absolutely adore this place! Our server, Alli, who also crafted our drinks today, is a true artist. The amazing creations they whip up really set this neighborhood coffee shop apart. While the food looks delicious, I've never actually eaten here—so I gave it a 4-star rating. We usually come by for an afternoon treat instead.
