The prices are quite high for what you receive. This will be my last visit. My initial order was nearly $25, but since I only had $20, the staff made adjustments for me. I ended up with two containers of dark meat chicken, each with two pieces and a side. The final total came to just under $20.

The quality of the food is questionable, and it seems that customer health is not a priority for the staff or management. It's no surprise that the employees come off as rude and indifferent, as they are guided by uncaring and negligent leadership. I would recommend staying away from this place!

This was my first time at this restaurant, and I was impressed by the well-prepared food and the sharp little cash register. However, there wasn't anything that particularly stood out to make me eager to return. That said, in an area focused on earning money, I have to mention that the quality I observed was commendable. I live in North Augusta and I'll admit I often overlook this Popeyes location! However, I visited this afternoon and was extremely impressed! The cashier was very attentive, ensuring she entered our order correctly, and even asked me to check the receipt to confirm everything was accurate. The food was incredibly hot and fresh, and they got our order spot on! All the employees were friendly and appeared to genuinely enjoy their work. I will definitely be back and won’t forget about this location again!

I waited 45 minutes, and the young woman delivering my food required me to raise my voice multiple times just to get her attention. She then told me I’d need to wait an additional 10 minutes for my popcorn, which had already noticeably shrunk in size. The sandwich was poorly assembled and overloaded with mayonnaise, despite my clear request for none. The side dishes were cold, as if they had just been taken straight from the fridge. Overall, the staff’s professionalism was disappointing, especially for a restaurant in Augusta.

I can hardly believe today was my first time visiting Popeyes! When I walked in, I felt a bit unsure about the menu, but Shanise, the cashier, was the kindest, most polite, and helpful fast food employee I've ever met. Friendly staff truly make all the difference—everyone knows how much a warm and welcoming attitude can transform the experience, especially compared to rudeness or indifference. I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. I didn't receive napkins or a fork, and I didn't even get a receipt. My mac and cheese was served in a cup, and the portion was quite small. The biscuit was crushed in the bag with the fries, which were also squished by the box of chicken. The chicken itself was cold and lacked any spice. I had to ask for a plastic fork and hot sauce. The worst part was waiting 30 minutes only to be given the wrong order. I even fell asleep in the drive-thru three times while waiting in line behind 10 cars. I'm not sure why it took so long. I will be reaching out to corporate as soon as possible.

When I thanked the employee who handed me my order and wished him a good day—as I always do with those in food service—he responded with a rude glare for no reason. This time, I decided to eat inside the restaurant instead of using the drive-thru, but unfortunately, the service and food didn’t improve. They were only serving thighs and legs and seemed to be handling one order at a time, which led to wrong sides being served. To make matters worse, the Coke dispenser was broken. The mashed potatoes and gravy were only lukewarm, and the coleslaw lacked seasoning. Even though I said I didn’t want a drink, they gave me one anyway.
