"5/11/24: This is a small diner-like cafe. Our server Bailey had a horrific attitude. She assumed all we wanted were waters. She asked if we were ready to order, we started with an appetizer and before we could order our meal, she assumed that’s all we wanted and left to go put the order in. We went without water for a while (which was the only option she gave us). 2 out of our burgers in our group of 4 were WAY overdone, with unpleasant burnt char, and the Philly meat was burnt. We ordered a $10 appetizer of onion rings and got the pathetic basket you see in the pictures. Every one else that worked there seemed cheerful and helpful but we really got the short end of the stick tonight. We wanted to speak up when we were asked multiple times if things were okay but we were with friends and didn’t want to create a fuss, we also wanted to order more but was afraid lol hopefully this was just a bad night for her AND the kitchen, but with how AWFUL we were treated I won’t be back to find out. Ever."

"Overly priced, single steak was and salads, sides, potatoes a la carte for another Had to remind waiter for butter to go with rolls and ask request more water when we clearly were out. Table server passed our table several times without removing any dirty dishes, never came back to ask how we liked our main entrees and if they were cooked ok. After asking for the bill, he didn't ask us about the off as he did the other military couple, so he took the bill back and credited us. Had I known they had switched to this new menu we wouldn't have come and unfortunately I don't think we plan to come back. This is a little town up in the CO mountains but charged us as if we were on the strip in Vegas. Wouldn’t recommend to my family or friends."

"Looking for a quick but good bite to eat after court and this place was recommended by staff. It was a great choice! Friendly and quick service and the food was on par with any other big restaurant. In fact, it was one of the best burgers I have had. I also had the salad bar which was great although a bit small. It's tucked back in the second level of the casino but there are signs. We will be back!"

"Don't know how the food is. Never got any. Sat for 90 minutes and all we got was drinks. Had to whistle at the waitress for a second drink. No appetizers. No salads. No nothing. Other people who were seated after us were eating and had finished before we decided to leave. They probably forgot to put our order in or something. The manager offered to bring our mains before salads or appetizers because they were ready, but we decided to just leave and go somewhere else. Our table for 4 was also very very small. Not a comfortable table for 4 people. We ended up getting our drinks comped even though we offered to pay for them. Kudos to the general manager. Probably the waitress's fault."

"Going to Maggie's is the best way to step back in time. We ordered their famous cookies and Gravy, and a sausage breakfast Burrito lubricated with green chilli. I also have one side of their pancakes. The meals we ordered would have fed 4-5 people (shares) easily and we were glad to take the rest with us. The eggs were perfect, the ash-browns were crispy, green chili was tasteful, without being excessively spicy, the pancakes and sausage sword have a deserved reputation! Next time in Cripple Creek (or even nearby) we are back to visit Maggie's!"
