"Wanted to come here for a long time as I've read how good their lobster rolls were. As a Mother's Day gift this year, my husband told me lunch here, my choice of date, was my gift. Chose to come on a Wednesday as they serve a lobster dinner all day for $25 . We were both disappointed. He had a lobster roll and I the lobster dinner. We've both enjoyed these same items elsewhere more than we did here."

We had the $25 lobster dinner available on Wednesdays only. Great value, super tasty. And with a bottle of Sancerre!

This place is an absolute favorite and I travel far to get here and come often. It's casual yet awesome dining in the amazing neighborhood of Red Hook. Can't get much better than the food here and the staff are wonderful too! Highly recommended!

Poor food quality. The Lobster roll was fine, but everything else was awful (fried pickle chips, hot crab dip burger). We ordered a burger medium-rare and it was provided well-done. Also, beers took about mins to arrive and the playlist was like an early soft-rock radio station. Not what you want to be listening to on a Saturday night out in Red Hook! Many better options in the area.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
