"The waitress never told us her name, but she was very pushy about the make a wish donation. Said that the kids are dying and that we need to donate, after we had already said no thanks. She spilled my water when she brought it to the table, went to get a napkin to wipe it up, and left the napkin on back of my seat next to my head. Every time we wanted something extra, she was like well that xxx about of dollars. Maam, I didn 't ask how much, I said can I have..... she responded by saying she only does that because doesn 't want to hear anybodys mouth when the check comes. It was kind of insulting. On a positive note, the food was fast and delicious."

The waitstaff is incredibly polite and attentive. The food was exceptional—the lobster and crab were cooked to perfection.

This is my favorite restaurant! I believe it's the best seafood in America! My compliments to the owner; he is friendly and a great manager. I would enjoy my drinks more if the air conditioning weren't so cold.

I had an exceptional experience on Mother's Day evening thanks to the wonderful waitstaff. The service was quick, and my food arrived hot. They did forget my crab legs at first, but they quickly resolved the issue. Overall, it was a great outing!

Was not in Red Lobster in a while, but I was excited to go this past week! Order the endless shrimps, and I enjoyed it all! Hot, fresh, seasoned and without waiting, although they were busy. Our waitress was super attentive, sweet and with a sense of humor! View menu

An average experience with acceptable food. The menu has been pared down quite a bit. The calamari was good and the have the best biscuits hands down. The cook on the scallops was a fail as there was no sear whatsoever. The Brussel sprouts were very good. It was just ok for the money. I think it?s a bit overpriced.

After being treated horribly at a neighboring restaurant, my experience and the ones accompanying me at Red Lobster was very pleasant. The male waiter was friendly and very professional. He was knowledgeable of the menu and took the time to help us decide on our meals. I was very pleased with his service. He made us feel welcome and wanting to return. View menu

"As soon as you walk into Metro Diner, you’re greeted by a bright and clean atmosphere. The first thing you notice is the cooking grill area, complete with a counter and stools for customers—this really enhances the nostalgic '50s vibe that the decor exudes. The menu features an impressive selection of food from various cuisines, and the specials displayed on the large chalkboard looked particularly enticing. We decided to order the fried chicken, which caught our attention. While chatting about the day—my wife had explored the railroad museum and a park in downtown Aiken—our server brought over a massive plate of chicken. My wife opted for the chicken and waffles, which came with strawberry butter and a sweet hot sauce that turned out to be delicious maple syrup mixed with Pete's Red Hot. I chose the fried chicken served with mashed potatoes and green beans. The green beans were fantastic—crisp, flavorful, and well-cooked, going beyond just being blanched. The mashed potatoes had that perfect homemade touch, with small bits of potato that confirmed they were made with real ingredients, not from a mix. Now, let’s talk about the chicken. Typically, my wife and I only eat the chicken itself, avoiding most of the skin and breading for health reasons, as I usually prefer just a little of the crispy coating. But Metro Diner has a secret: their fried chicken was so good that we ended up eating nearly all the skin and coating! Honestly, this was the best fried chicken we’ve ever tasted. It was served piping hot, and while we started with small bites to let it cool, we were completely captivated by the sweet and spicy sauce. The setup at the table made it easy to replenish the sauce as needed, and I even took home the recipe, which we've already used a couple of times. Our service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Metro Diner truly lives up to its reputation for variety. I can only imagine how delicious breakfast must be there!"
