Let me just start by saying first and foremost customer service 100% outstanding! Right when you walk in you feel welcomed and appreciated!! server was absolutely amazing. Helped us with all of our beer options, food options completely amazing, the food , Don't get me started 100% delicious, definitely recommend.

We came here on vacation for our daughters birthday… we are from Oklahoma- so we do realize the difference between Northern and southern cooking…. The chicken fried steak needs to come off the menu, bland… tough… mainly breading. I shared ribs with my son, the sauce was awesome- ribs were tender but dry. We did love the sweet potato purée. The experience was average, not outstanding. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and found it tough. I opted for the crispy chicken salad, which was decent. The beer selection was good, especially the Bomber Mountain. I would recommend making a reservation for this restaurant as it seems to get busy. In terms of kid-friendliness, I saw children at the restaurant who appeared to be content and happy.

We were in Cody for six days and unfortunately we waited until our last evening to go to Cody steakhouse. Had we gone earlier, we would definitely have gone back. Everything about the experience was wonderful. I’ve never seen such hustle and enthusiasm among all employees as l witnessed there. The steaks are great, the atmosphere, the same, and Cora was absolutely delightful. Thank you for a great meal and experience.

We arrived at the restaurant at 8 PM on a Monday without a reservation. The elderly gentleman who greeted us informed us that there were no available seats until the 8:45 seating. When we suggested sitting at the bar and having a drink while we waited, he said it was not possible as the bar was full. We then proposed standing at the bar and having a drink, but he again refused, citing lack of space. Unfortunately, we were unable to try the food at this restaurant and likely never will. View menu

I’ve ate at this place 3-4 times and never base my experience on one time so finally writing a review. The chicken fried steak is decent but any ma and pop restaurant in town will have the same thing for $10 less and be just as good. I have tried the ribeye and their baseball sirloin. Both times I ordered rare. And both came out like prime rib rare. I assume they sous vide their steaks which to me turn it into more of a roast. The sear is non existent and the meat is flavorless. The sides are undercooked and never changing in the 2 years I’ve went there. The price is pretty high for the quality of food. Do yourself a favor and check out some of the other options in town.

Wonderful food. We've been on vacation for a week now, this restaurant has been the best we have had. Service was awesome. There was a young couple with their three children that came in. This has nothing to do with my feelings about this restaurant. These two adults allowed their children to climb on the table, throw things at customers, lay on the floor where waiters are carrying trays of food, and standing in their chairs. To make things worse one child knocked their drink on the floor and it splattered on a lady's back. The parents did not apologize to that lady at all.
