"I've given Ricky's Cafe several tries, but I keep leaving disappointed. Sometimes the place is empty and I get no service; other times the service is decent, but the food is awful. The prices are way too high—$6 for just three flat pancakes, and my potatoes and eggs barely filled half the plate. I requested cheese, but it wasn’t even melted. This will be my last visit. I’d much rather go to IHOP or Nevada Diner on Queens Blvd, both of which are excellent. The waitress was kind and did try to make up for it by bringing more potatoes, which I appreciated, but I still won’t be coming back. The toast was extremely dry, and I never received a coffee refill. Overall, a big letdown."

Pleasant atmosphere, but the portions were a bit small. Overall, it was decent, though I prefer other eateries nearby.

The milkshakes and cappuccino were excellent! The owner was incredibly friendly and kindly offered our family access to the restroom. She also gave us useful directions to Times Square. We will definitely be coming back on our future visits!

This was my first time eating here. I ordered smoked salmon in scrambled eggs. The eggs were scrambled soft as requested. It was served with a fresh mixed salad. I enjoyed the food and the coffee was very good. The service could be improved. They did notbring the water I asked for so I drank the water I had for walking. They also forgot napkins. I would go back.

The quality of the food is very uneven. Well sized breakfast plates prepared fresh and cheerful service. The avocado toast was refreshing for being generous and not at all fancy. The pancakes on the other hand were salty and dry. The coffee was quiteweak, but it tasted good enough when drunk together with eggs or spicy food. Service tends to be very slow. The only restroomhas been permanently out of service, which is irritating. View menu

I clearly ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, but when I got home, the chicken was missing. I called to ask why, and the woman told me I hadn’t ordered chicken with it. A grilled chicken sandwich should obviously come with chicken—I shouldn’t have to specify that. She didn’t even apologize. When I was picking up my order, I asked for a plastic bag for the sandwich, and she refused, saying she doesn’t give bags for sandwiches. I live far away and can’t carry it like that for two hours. How much can one plastic bag possibly cost? Terrible service.

I clearly ordered grilled chicken sandwich when I came home the chicken was missing from the sandwich I called asked the lady why she didn?t give me chicken she said I didn?t order chicken with it. Grilled chicken sandwich is coming with chicken whyshould I need to tell her separately about chicken. She don?t even say sorry or anything. When I was taking my order i wasasking her for a plastic bag for the sandwich she said she didn?t give me because I?m buying a sandwich . I leave far so I can?tcarry it like that for two hours. One plastic bag how much money is that. Horrible service.
