"absolutely hit or miss. on Saturday with my man landed to the late lunch in the roadhouse, and it was perfection. Salads were fresh, steaks were some of the best we ever had in a restaurant and service was great. last week had a return trip, on Monday, also for a late lunch directly when it opened (4:00) fuller 180 salat was devastated, chili was served cold, so we asked about fries instead...no got them. the steak des mannes was hard and overcooked. three or four of us had tee, probably 5 cubes. I understand, fresh tee is hot, but that was during the meal. only really disappointed bc this was a special bday lunch and had high expectations after our previous visit. but the rolls and the butter always save the day so that we still give it a shot!"

The staff is polite and courteous, and the burgers are awesome! The ambiance is very similar to a Willie's Roadhouse mixed with an old school barn-bar. Cozy, friendly, antique signs, wooden siding inside out. Great place to stop in. Local recommended.

believes the hype! I've been driving for years here at my vacation weekends to lake lbj. the vibe is plunged and fun with country charme. I sat and was greeted shortly afterwards, ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and had my food in less than 10 minutes. the meat is delicious! boiled perfectly and juicy as everyone comes out. I recommend stopping on their next trip!
