"The food at this restaurant is very tasty, and I have been there several times. The only meal I didn't enjoy was the Sunday service, as it was bland. However, I must mention that I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness I observed at the restaurant. I saw the staff touching everything with the same gloves they used for cooking, from countertops to wiping their noses to opening doors. It would be better if they changed their gloves when handling food. Additionally, the food did not look like the pictures shown online, especially the "jerk chicken.""

"We were 5 couples who came to celebrate one of our friend’s birthday. We were seated outside, which was very nice and very quiet. Our waiter, Shawn, came by quickly to see if anyone wanted a beer or hard drink. He explained some of the dish specials and gave us time to decide. My wife ordered a Caesar Salad to start and then a nice plate of Chicken Parm. She was one of the few in our party that didn’t have to return their plate. All of us who ordered their 10oz New York strip $21.99) dinner, had to return their plates, as they were very undercooked or not prepared as ordered. The problem started right from the get go, as Shawn was overwhelmed at this point. The plates went back to the kitchen but when returned by some other waiters, they didn’t go back to the right people. It was a mess. After supper, Shawn cleared the table and came back with 10 small plates, which he placed right in front of the Birthday girl. NO surprise now!! After supper, Shawn came back with ONE bill for the table, instead of a bill for each couple. He explained the restaurants policy at which point 2 of us went back to the front reservation desk to argue our case. Finally, after getting nowhere, Dani Hurd, their Senior Service Manager stepped in. She assured us that we would all get individual bills one per couple). She was very nice and calmed everyone down. One last thing. The Birthday Girls daughter had ordered an $80.00 Birthday Cake, which was not delivered to the table."

"I love JB’s on the Beach and have gone for lunch, Sunday brunch and this time for dinner on a Wednesday night. We started with the coconut shrimp appetizer to share which was delicious along with a cocktail each. One friend and I each had the paella which was delicious and had plenty of seafood in it. Another friend had the lobster salad which is a favorite there and was very good I included a picture which doesn’t even do that salad justice. The last of the four of us had the salmon ramen bowl and liked that as well. We also shared a piece of Key Lime pie and each had a cup of coffee. I thought the bill of including tax but before the tip was ok. It’s a great time out at JB’s and worth it always. I always have a nice time st JB’s but I think I’ll stick to the full experience I feel I get during the day. Sitting outside under the overhang on a sunny day watching the volleyball players and people on the beach and the pier while looking out at the ocean. For me there isn’t anything else like it. I enjoy it always. I’m sure you will too"

"I ordered over $200.00 in a takeout order. However once I got home I realized one item I ordered wasn’t given to me, so I called to let them know I was missing a dish. I received the most unbelievable hostile response ever! Kevin the owner of the establishment began insinuating that I wasn’t telling the truth, and he was too busy to deal with me! By now it wasn’t about the missing food It had become about being verbally attacked and basically told I was lying! I went back with original order and proof of payment to ASSURE the owner that I really was missing a part of my order. And even though I was extremely upset and disappointed, and I wanted him to know it! I never once spoke in way to interrupt his establishment with other costumers dining! But instead of the owner an offering me an SINCERE apology for the mistake made! He decided very rudely that I needed to be informed about how long his business had been in the area! As though that should validate to me that his business was not capable of making a such an error! For goodness sake’s all that for a missing dish that cost about $17.00 after I’d spent over $200.00! Kevin, as the owner good customer service would have simply been you being responsible enough to say I’m sorry for the inconvenience and rectifying the problem WITHOUT having such an aggressive and hostile behavior! Yes, I got a refund. But Sir, you can have great food, but bad customer service can cost you to lose one customer at time until after years of being in business ends! That was totally unexpected, unnecessary, definitely unacceptable behavior!
