"I had an amazing dinner last Friday on the rooftop of the Restaurant at Rose Hill! The Beef Carpaccio topped with Pink Peppercorn Condiment, Black Summer Truffle, Crisp Parmesan, and Fried Artichoke Hearts was a beautiful presentation and a wonderful explosion of flavors. Every item on the menu is designed to delight your taste buds. They also have an impressive wine selection with a knowledgeable female beverage director to help you choose. The atmosphere is enhanced by great music and a cool, diverse crowd. If you’re in NYC, treat yourself and visit for brunch, lunch, dinner, or any meal—you won’t regret it! Chef Keith E. Geter is on the verge of something big!"

my experience with this place was one of the best decisions I've ever made, eating was so delicious that I still dreamed of it and planned to come back for a date night.

Restaurant was almost empty in a Saturday night at 7:30. The service was polite but not professional. They just didn't seem to have their act together, not that anything was bad, but sort of haphazard. View menu

Very pleasant experience. It's a little nook, but it has a quiet ambiance and is cozy with tasty food. Very good for a date. Only complaint was they misquoted me the corkage charge at $20 and then billed me $35. Otherwise, excellent.

I visited this restaurant with my husband and my mother, and we had a fantastic experience. The staff were attentive and offered great suggestions. The food was delicious, and everyone left feeling satisfied. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food was excellent. However, I did have an issue with the woman who took our order; she left without confirming everything and neglected to inform us that one of the items was unavailable. The gentleman who took over was very apologetic, which made a difference. I hope this improves on my next visit. View menu

The food was very good. It would have been exceptionally better if it was served as it was plated. I presume it sat under a heat lamp for several minutes before t was served. The service was not good. It was obvious the server was not trained well and lacked basic skills necessary when serving a customer.

Poor sound insulation. Dining room is very small so forget about conversing if it’s half full. My friends and I were in a screaming match and still had a hard time hearing one another. Food is great, but like I said, if the dining room is half full then kiss service goodbye. The staff is friendly but unable to manage multiple tables. We waited an hr for our plates to be cleared and they don’t serve dessert.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
