"This was for a 50th Birthday party and the 3rd time we have used Rustika for the cake/dessert. Not only have they never disappointed but continued their streak of top notch, artisan-quality cakes that are not only beautiful but 100% delicious!! Francis hit a total grand slam World Series Winning home run with her intricately and delicately made Texas-themed cake. Everyone wanted to know who made this, and we made sure to tell them Rustika did and that it was the 3rd one for us they have made. The servers did not want to cut it because it was so beautiful, but when they did the chocolate top tier, and strawberry-vanilla bottom tier were both so delicious!! My wife absolutely loved it, and thank you again for all your collaboration in making this the best cake anyone can give to their wife!"

First visit. I have to say, we loved our meal and the Rustika coffee was delicious. Will definitely be back. We didn't try their desserts but bought the Cuvee Coffee Beans. Highly recommend. It's small but delicious and eclectic menu.

Best chicken salad sandwich in Houston. The sandwich was huge. The only thing is that sandwiches come with Pita chips and they don't give you many of them. But I promise the sandwich will fill you. The baked goods look amazing, but I was too full to try everyone.

I visited in June 2022, and I was truly impressed by how the different cultures blended beautifully in the dishes. The food was exceptional and really satisfying. Every bite was delicious! The prices were justified considering the high quality of the meal. I will definitely return.

First was great and dessert really hit the spot. The coffee was delicious, the turtle coffee and the regular drip coffee. I ordered the chicken fajita bowl and it was awesome. A very generous portion and it tasted like my own mother made it. We also had some cookies and they were great. Had no issues with the service. You place your order up front and they bring you your food.

This place is definitely not what he used to be. Customer service is out of the window and the amazing cakes I used to make are terrible. I ordered a cake for my daughters 18. Birthday, and it wasn't good AT ALL. It was so rough and dense (you can say it in the pictures). I paid over $50 for this little cake (which I usually did not have a problem with bc his always was worth it), just to cut each one piece and then try it with disappointment. I never go back to Rustika.

This place offers the best chicken salad sandwich in Houston! The sandwich is massive. The only downside is that it comes with pita chips, but they don't give you many. However, I guarantee that the sandwich will fill you up. The baked goods looked incredible, but I was too full to try any of them. Today, I tried one of the midday specials: shrimp paella with poblano. It was delicious! The grilled shrimp was served over rice with a creamy poblano sauce. Francis created a stunning, intricately designed Texas-themed cake that truly stole the show at the celebration. Everyone was curious about who made it, and we proudly told them it was Rustika, the third time we've used them. The servers were hesitant to cut the cake because it looked so nice, but once we tried it, we were sold—the chocolate top and strawberry vanilla layers were both incredibly tasty! My wife absolutely loved the cake, and I cannot thank Rustika enough for their cooperation in helping us find the perfect cake for such a special occasion. I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with this bakery 's shipping standards. The Italian Caramel Cream Cake 8 order that I received from Rustika via Goldbelly was in deplorable condition. The bakery did not package the shipment with any dry ice, so the cake obviously melted in transit. To add insult to injury, the bakery 's staff shipped the cake upside down in the cake box. Rustika 's marketing materials seems to display an excessive sense of pride in their longevity and purported high standards.
