"Wow! What a great find! Rutherford 's is clean, cute, a great value, and not too cheesy with too much Route 66 nostalgia stuff. Lucky for me the diner of my motel, the opening of 7:00, decided to open 8:00 and I was hungry! Classic American Diner, Breakfast Lunch, Dinner and really good food! Not good restaurant, but the best food. You have a selection of Mexican breakfasts, skillful breakfasts, Omelettes, Pancakes, etc. The complete lunch and dinner menu will also have to come back the next day. Had the Santa Fe Skillet (excellent value at $8,95), over medium eggs were perfect, much of everything. Also got a side of sausage really nice, not your typical cheapo sausage links, but plump, thick sausages with a skin that snapped and great taste. Marina was awesome running the front SOLO, welcome people coming to the door, cleaning tables, chatting the locals to supply food... she was annoying... And pleasant... And attentive... I don't know how she does, but she was the bomb. We'll be back. What a jewel on Route 66."

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant for breakfast. The food was delicious, and the prices were quite reasonable. When I inquired about making a modification to my order, the staff was very accommodating. While some comments about the exterior seemed a bit snobbish, I found the parking to be ample. Inside, the diner was sparkling clean, and the staff was both friendly and hardworking. My meal arrived in less than 10 minutes. I will definitely be back, as the prices were more than fair!
