"Bad experience 1/23/23 . I’ve been going to Ryan’s consistently for about a year now . Great food and drinks . On two separate occasions though I had the same experience with a particular bartender named Sophia who tried double charging me. I’ve worked in restaurants for years I’m aware of the scam. She gets away with it often hoping that the customers are too drunk to realize. Her attitude was horrible when we pointed it out she got very sassy . She didn’t even apologize. We brought it up to the managers attention but he brushed it off claiming that she’s going through a lot . But this has happened twice with her . Would not recommend going here . They condone their bartenders taking advantage of the customers and offering 0% customer service hospitality"

My husband and I recently visited this bar as we are new to the area and to Philadelphia. The host was very welcoming, and the food was great. I ordered the quesadilla, and we enjoyed some Stella beers together.

I wouldn't recommend relying on the management at Ryan's Pub to address any issues that arise. There was a serious incident here where a child was stabbed, and they refused to investigate it. Additionally, it seems the owner turns a blind eye to employees who steal from patrons. With overpriced food and an unsafe atmosphere, I suggest avoiding Ryan's Pub in Manayunk altogether.

This restaurant is fantastic, boasting a wonderful atmosphere. The food, drinks, staff, and overall vibe are all excellent. I’ve visited multiple times and have consistently had an outstanding experience. It’s definitely my favorite place to enjoy Sunday brunch and watch afternoon Eagles games. Take the bad reviews serious. Nothing has changed. They WILL take their time. Not only that, but in my and and I’s case, we watched them serve an entire table that came 1-2hours after us and got their food AND ate it all and we still haven’t ate.Once we got our food 3 hrs later (wasn’t even a busy day) my group lost their appetite. An entire day wasted. ALSO, an employee walk-in in on my friend in the bathroom!DINE. AT. YOUR. OWN. RISK.

Great pub food here, got the Reuben recently and what a great sandwich it was. Quesadillas are great too; they make sure to crisp up their tortillas prior to serving them. Of course, had to have me a few Guiness as I enjoy doing at all Irish pubs I attend. They have extra seating upstairs so don't shy away if you look through the window and all the downstairs tables are taken. I actually prefer the upstairs due to their new huge (at least 65' TV that we had all to ourselves to watch the 76ers game.Definitely a good place for the price!Just know, if you come here after 11, you'll be walking into an army of mid 20s locals.
