"Very pleased with our New Year Day lunch. It was very easy to call and make a reservation. We chose to sit outside which was empty to begin with but by 2pm there were lots of people sitting outside with us. It?s freezing to begin with but have patience and wait for the heaters to get hot and you?ll feel fine. A nice touch would be if they offered blankets to use because your legs under the table will get cold in January. The food was delicious and came out quite quickly. The staff is also very attentive and friendly. I?ll be visiting again soon!"

"I liked the restaurant. This was new years day and I thought that the help staff was a bit new or inexperienced but certainly not bad. It took a long time to get our food, my friend and I both ordered Cioppino. I thought the fish and shell fish used in the cioppino was very good. The sauce seemed a bit subdued. I thought the tomato could be a bit brighter with maybe a hit of spice. Instead the sauce seemed underwhelmed, but I ate it all. As I love cioppino."

"Upon entering the restaurant, I inquired about the possibility of having a dish made without fish sauce. The staff informed me that they could accommodate my request by using oyster sauce instead, but when I mentioned that I was vegan, they offered several alternative options, such as wok dishes prepared with soy sauce. I ultimately decided on a delicious tofu, basil, and eggplant stir-fry, which exceeded my expectations in terms of variety. In addition to the main ingredients I requested, I was pleasantly surprised to find water chestnuts, snow peas, green beans, carrots, and cabbage included in the dish."

"I am always thrilled to try a local restaurant but was disappointed and hoping things get better. The service was subpar and disorganized. We were sat with no menus, then, got some and no water. Then got water and still no server. The server seemed distracted and not happy to be working. I ordered the ravioli, it was fine and a Pilsener which I finished before the pasta came and never asked if I wanted anything else. Drinks and deserts were being plated at the bar, so I could see that they used a big tub of vanilla ice cream, Hershey's syrup and Rediwhip to make a sundae. They were using Kirkland Cranberry and lemonade for drinks, not exactly high quality unless you like corn syrup. The staff all looked tired and bored to be there. Great location and a bit of a view, but needs some energy and some management upgrades, and better quality products to be able to charge restaurant prices for Costco products that I wouldn't buy at home. Sorry its not worth another visit at this time!"

"we have told the server (one of the owners is that we were vegan and he took away our menus and said that we don't need them and then tell us that he would serve us the most amazing vegan meals of our life. I was very excited to let someone else make the decisions and he brought us two mysterious dishes where we had to guess what the main ingredient was. we were wrong, but spent the meal completely melted in the solution of the secret that added to the culinary experience. I will not say what the mysterious ingredients were, so they can have their own experience, but eating was absolutely amazing and so tasteful and creatiw. the dishes were a combination of Indian and Italian or Indian and Mexican, who really go well together. we went back in the next night for two different mysteries dishes and then ordered three more meal times to go for the next day when we drove to the house down the Californian coast. it is a family-run device that adds to the warmth and friendliness of the place. we huged when we left last time. it really made a difference that the owner was also the server because he knew everything about her eating and what vegan is and was so excited to prepare us something new and interesting (instead of saying something like oh, so that she eat fish? or I need to check if they can do this without eating. we loved it there and look forward to the next time we are in the opposite! 2022, a few years later, returned and equally happy. they made us enchiladas with a maulp and what tasted like a mango sauce, and hung through disc wipers with grilled vegetables. delicious! updated by previous review on 2022-02-01"
