Jimmy Smith roll the salmon was way too smoky, it tasted like there was bacon in it how smoky it was. too overpowering and no sense of balance for something as delicate as sushi. ONE Egg roll was $4 for one that tasted like i could apos;ve had a frozen one for walmart and it apos;d be the same thing. Got $15 off from doordash and it was just barely worth it for the price I paid. Can apos;t believe people are paying full price for something they can get for a fraction of the cost. but hey what else is new about most Gainesville restaurants?"

Fresh and nutritious! This is our third visit, and we are truly blown away by the quality of the food and the overall experience! A big thank you to Quinn for her evident passion for food and outstanding service! The staff always greets us with a smile and a positive attitude, which reflects the care they put into their dishes. Amazing! The wait was an hour, but it was absolutely worth it. The flavors are incredible. I really indulged. I decided to try the Baba on my fifth visit. I had the meat and vegetables, and they were delicious! I can't believe I've lived so close for so many years without ever coming here. This place is fantastic. I had a great bento bowl for lunch here. Just a heads up, if you have a small appetite, you might want to skip it because the leftovers don’t hold up well. Along with the bento, they also offer soup. The meal is quite filling and reasonably priced at around twelve dollars. The service was good, although the place has a bit of a funky smell, something like a mix of dirty mop water and leftover grease. However, once you’re seated, you seem to adjust to it. Overall, I still recommend this place because the food is fantastic!

Overall it was pretty average. Im giving it two stars for taste and one star for how quickly it was cooked and arrived. The hibachi chicken dinner lacked flavor mostly. The chicken was dry and again not flavored at all. The rice was pretty yummy but not the yummy you normally get at hibachi restaurants. The veggies were great though. The miso soup was salty which I like and the ginger salad wasnt particularly good because the dressing was creamy not the typical ginger dressing I would normally have at a hibachi place. The sushi was pretty average it wasnt bad nor great. Overall just an averagish dinner and probably wont order from here again but it was a good try.
