So happy we found this place on the way home. It had good reviews and did not disappoint. The halibut was cooked perfectly, the mussels were a bit small but still tasty. The staff was very friendly, professional, and we felt well taken care of.

Was there for an 80th birthday party. The room for the party was a bit small for the amount of people. But the food was delicious the service was impeccable. I had the steak my son had the salmon. We both really enjoyed it. The salad chocolate dessert were also delicious.

There are many restaurants on LI which aspire to be first-rate, Sandbar actually achieves that in their menu, service and ambiance. The space is warm and beautiful and the service is wonderful. The food was especially delightful with a wide range of options. The margarita flatbread is simple but so good. The salads were fresh and in season and well composed, and the sea bass entree was elevated, generous and full of flavor. The pumpkin cheesecake was a marvelous end to a lovely meal.
