"While we like this restaurant very much, and appreciate the staff and the warm atmosphere, we were very disappointed in the food this time. The food was rather lackluster and served tepid from the kitchen. The carnitas was dry and had little flavor, and the fish was oddly bitter. The prices would lead you to think the food should be at a much higher quality. We may go there for drinks again, but will not be back for dinner any time soon."

It’s always been a favorite neighborhood spot. I like that they still have large VERY CLEAN plexi dividers up between tables.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, but our server seemed aloof and uninterested in their job. Luckily, the other staff members were very friendly. The guacamole was excellent- would definitely come back if we could have a different server!

We had a fantastic dining experience with friends before a concert. The food and ambiance were excellent! The server made sure to quickly take our order so we had plenty of time to get to Lincoln Center. We will definitely be returning again in the future.

A great neighborhood standby for great Mexican traditional dishes a the best frozen margaritas. A place to get lost in from brunch through dinner on any fall or winter mealtime when seeking a warm spot with knowledgeable staff and a feeling of being in Mom’s kitchen. View menu

I went there because I saw there was a line so I thought it must be good. If you're a non meat eater, don't bother going. There is literally nothing to eat except for a bean soup, mushroom quesadilla and chips and salsa. The mushroom quesadilla was sub par and the cheese tasted so weird almost like bleach. I don't know why people love this place. I guess I missed something.

Santa Fe is a fantastic Mexican restaurant that offers a relaxed atmosphere. The cozy and inviting environment adds to the dining experience, and the food is delicious. Unfortunately, our server was not very attentive, which took away slightly from our overall experience. However, since this was the first time we experienced this issue, we would still consider returning in the future.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
