The meat that was served was not fresh and did not taste good. The service was decent.

Service was slow, meat was well done when I ordered it medium rare. Meat was cold. The only thing good was the cocktail that took forever to arrive

Ordered two ribeye steaks both of which were very tough and grisly. Need better quality and consistency. Nice restaurant and great service but meat quality needs to improve

I usually don't post reviews but in this case it's different. First of all service was very slow. It took over 30 mins just to get a menu and was only given 2 menus for a group of 10. The steak I ordered came out cold and over cooked. Ordered medium rare and it was well done. Never coming back here again.

The restaurant was lovely with a beautiful atmosphere that felt like stepping back into the 1930's. We started with the empanadas as appetizers, which were delicious. I ordered the sirloin steak cooked medium, which had a nice flavor but there was a tough piece of gristle in it. My wife ordered the lamb and found it to be a bit dry. I am from Chicago and I came down to Laredo to visit my mom for her birthday. I decided I wanted to treat her to a nice dinner and found this nice quiet little spot online. It was super early so the restaurant was empty and quiet which was nice since my folks older. Our server #73 Benavidez was great and made the experience enjoyable. I was very pleased with the service and food at San Telmo and would go back and sit at the bar next time I am in town.

my man and I have his birthday dinner and he ordered a new york steak half of it was fat. we called the manager to see if he could replace this sign or if we can order something else he was really rude and told us: “That’s it, the steak came so,” we told him that money was not a problem and if we could order something else, but he apparently wanted to argue about our complaining and compare it with lamb! what I think has no meaning. they have never had a happy birthday on it I had asked when I reserved! it's terrible to be so expensive!

My birthday dinner was so disappointing! The customer service was terrible, especially from manager Guillermo. I ordered a medium rare New York Strip, but they brought me a steak that was medium and not to my liking. When I asked for the manager, Guillermo offered to take it back or bring me a hot plate so I could cook it myself at the table. I was shocked by his lack of professionalism. He even tried to charge me for a cheaper dish than what I had ordered. I was so insulted that I almost raised my voice. I will never return to this restaurant again.
