Skinny V was fantastic, but I suggest adding more vegetables to create a balanced dish. The marinated zucchini is delicious on its own as well!

I hadn't eaten a calzone in years because it's difficult to find vegan options. Sauce on the Side offers a delicious vegan calzone with vegan pepperoni, sausage, cheese, peppers, and onions. It was well worth the wait!

Absolutely delicious! Always hear about this place on the radio, but we lived to far away to casually go. When I came to the city I took my family to dine in and everything was very clean, friendly staff and food was perfect! View menu

Had no calzone in DECADES because it's hard to find vegans. Sauce on the side has a vegan calzone with vegan paprika, sausage, cheese, paprika and onions. It was definitely worth waiting! Updated by previous review on 2022-08-25

Fantastic drinks, fan-freaking-tastic fried chicken. We also had the most magical carrot for an appetizer and were lucky to try a friend's soup. Holy hell, 10s across the board!! Can't wait to try more. Here's a pic of said magic carrot #WORTHIT

It's my birthday so I decided to try out Sauce on the side for lunch. I got the Skinny V today and it was amazing I will most definitely be going back, don't think twice try it ASAP and even though I got takeout I still felt welcome from the staffs hospitality.....not the best pics because I was hungry lol sorry guys but I promise its so worth it View menu

Sauce on the side was always good for vegans. They had no vegan cheese, but had lots of vegetables and the marinara and dough for their calzone is vegan. But now they offer the Skinny V Calzone with Vegan Pepperoni Vegan Meatballs Vegan Cheese White Onion Green peppers roasted garlic Served with Spicy Red Sauce. It's good! I think next time I will skip the paprika and add some olives and mushrooms, but so happy to have this fully vegan option. It does not look like it is listed on their online menu, but is available when you go to place an order online. It was also only available at Grove site, but I've read it since (or will soon) at all locations. I encourage everyone to try it!

Recently, they introduced the Skinny V calzone, which includes Vegan Pepperoni, Vegan Meatballs, Vegan Cheese, White Onion, Green Peppers, and Roasted Garlic, served with Spicy Red Sauce.
