"Okay this is a kind of a difficult review because some of it was fantastic and some of it were terrible. So the fantastic was my sandwich when I finally got a correct one. More to come on. That. Was excellent. I've been needing schlotzsky's for 50 years. Started back in Texas and high school. And the sandwich brought back all his memories and was just as good if not better than the original. So thank you for that. The atmosphere I enjoy the restaurants, upbeat, open and very clean. Now the part that really hard to say but the outcome was okay. Being as the kitchen is open as you can see in the picture, I could see the person making my sandwich at schlotzsky's. The bread and the meat goes through a rotisserie type of them like a Burger King. So the cook puts the product in the back and it what goes through and they wait for it to get heated up toasted. While they were wearing gloves at the build station, that person pulls out their cell phone, either text or since the head earbuds in change the music or whatever, but they fiddled with their phone for the entire time that the bread and me is going through the oven. Then is it finished the cooking? They put the phone down. Don't change the gloves and then proceed to pick up the shredded lettuce. Pick up the tomatoes, pick up the meat and put it on my sandwich and also with some condiments. Then hold the bread between their hands and cut it in half and then wrap it up and then walk over to me and smile and say here's your sandwich. So I asked to speak to the manager and the general manager came over. Tony was his name and I explained to him about the open concept in the way that I was able to watch this person handling their very dirty cell phone then making my sandwich. He just kind of looked at me. Like what was he going to do so I just hand that in my bag of sandwich and I said I'm not eating this and let him make the decision because I will see if they're going to walk out with nothing and he said oh well let me make you a sandwich myself. So he proceeded to go wash his hands, put on gloves, make the sandwich perfectly and out the door. I went. So it was a bad experience, but Tony did to save the day and the sandwich that he made for me was wonderful. So I'm sure they'll be no problems. If you come by, you'll get a great sandwich and I'm sure that those people have been in bondished and went corrected their ways."
