"Our family is staying in the beach homes at South Seas Island Resort. We booked our home rental through Royal Shell Vacations. We have stayed in the same rental home several times and have been patrons of this establishment many times without issue. We have supported the business through the pandemic and before. Unfortunately today, we encountered the worst customer service. We ordered four meals and we were told because we were not staying on property, meaning booking directly through South Seas Island Resort we would not be able to purchase food. We spoke directly to the manager and she said that we booked with their direct competition meaning Royal Shell Vacations and would not be able to purchase food at their establishment unless we paid a daily amenities fee for our party for the duration of our stay. If the food was subsidized in costs it would make sense, but the cost is typical of any resort food. This is an awful business practice as we have booked our past stays through South Seas and also Royal Shell and we will not be frequenting this establishment again or booking through South Seas. This completely turned us off and we don 't want anything to do with them. We were thinking of booking our family reunion next year through South Seas, but instead will be going through Royal Shell."

We were very excited to eat there at first. The staff does not make you feel welcome at all. Let me reiterate, the attitudes from the staff make you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Take your kids elsewhere on the island. They don't want you there. Food was not at all worth the price. Go to the bubble room icecream shop, they at least act like they want your business. Very disappointing on a family vacation

Overall, I had a great experience at this pizza place! The service was quick and friendly. We ordered a large pizza topped with half cheese and half pepperoni, and it was quite tasty—my fiancé couldn't wait to dig in. However, I did find the prices to be a bit on the high side for my taste. The interior of Scoops and Slices had a lively atmosphere, complete with a candy bar and playful decor. I would definitely recommend this spot!

This place is great. I 've been here several times and the ice cream is amazing. I haven 't tried it yet, but their pizza and other food looks good too. Just keep in mind that you can only pay with your room card. If you are not staying at the hotel or if your key card says No resort access, you unfortunately cannot buy anything as they do not accept cash or credit/debit cards. Although it's not my favorite spot, I'm glad it's available. Just keep in mind that service can be slow, so it's not the best choice if you're in a hurry.

Convenience is this place's best offering. The ice cream is incredibly average and the pizza just the regular old plain pizza had so much cheese on it, it was overwhelming and gross. With less cheese the pizza was decent, but there I was at the pool, with a limited number of napkins, trying to remove cheese and getting grease and sauce all over myself. It wasn't my ideal experience. The sauce did have a decent flavor and the crust was nice and crispy, so there's that.
