"Shaughnessy’s is a fun sports pub located in the beautifully renovated Hotel Syracuse, Downtown. We were headed to the PBR Rodeo at the Syracuse War Memorial less than a block away. The hostess and wait staff were working with a pretty full house of customers, but were able to seat us and take our orders with hardly any delay! And they were busy hustling tables, yet friendly and “working together like a well oiled machine”. Below is what the 3 of us enjoyed- all reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! Pretzel Pups served cheddar rarebit, whole grain spicy mustard. Philly Cheese Steak Hoagie is sautéed onions,mushrooms, and cheddar sauce. The ‘Cuse Salad w mixed greens, oranges, crisp boneless chicken, NY cheddar, red onion, citrus vinaigrette Fish and Chips was wild caught haddock, coleslaw, tartar sauce, malt vinegar We’re spreading the news and plan to return with friends and family!"

The bartenders were friendly, the atmosphere was casual yet pleasant, and the food was both affordable and delicious. The portion sizes were generous, especially the roasted pups with mustard. The boneless wings were also fantastic and cooked to perfection. I only wish I had spent more time in Syracuse, as there were more dishes I wanted to try!

I had a great time at this restaurant, perfect for sitting down, chatting, and relaxing. It attracted many pub enthusiasts, and the staff was extremely attentive. The food came out quickly and met my expectations. Located on the street level of the Marriott Hotel, it's a convenient and cozy spot for lunch if you're staying there. I plan on returning! View menu

This is a clean and welcoming pub with friendly staff and surprisingly fresh and delicious food. It might sound too good to be true, but I assure you it's not! You should definitely give it a try. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with the game always on and music playing at just the right volume for conversation. Additionally, I appreciate that they are open on Sundays. Many businesses leave travelers like us without options in the city center on Sundays, but here it’s a relaxing experience!

I always go to this pub when I am in Syracuse. I usually meet friends or family and we have snacks or a meal with drinks. I really like the wings. The atmosphere is friendly and the bartenders are really attentive and friendly. Thanks to all of the staff for enjoyable times. We didn’t want to leave the hotel after getting settled in, so we decided to try this place. So glad we did!! The food was delicious, the portions were huge, and the seating was plentiful. Overall a great meal!! Try the poutine fries- they were amazing.
